A list of puns related to "Integrated Library System"
Hello all,
I work for a library non-profit called Equinox Open Library Initiative. We support open source technologies in libraries. We work with public, academic and special libraries. Most of our work is in the United States and Canada but have worked with libraries all over the world. We've been trying to do more informational outreach to libraries lately and combat FUD (Fear/Uncertainty/Doubt) about open source. We find there are a lot of misconceptions and people don't know where to ask for good answers. We primarily support Koha and Evergreen, honestly the two best adopted open source ILSes out there and both are great with strong communities. There are about a half dozen others with smaller niches as well.
As part of our outreach we've started hosting some Twitter chats. My colleague Andrea will be hosting one on Twitter March 28th from 12 noon - 1 pm Eastern Standard time, @andreabneiman . The topic is new features in our just released Evergreen 3.1 but she's very knowledgeable about the open source community and development process as it pertains to libraries and co-operative development. Obviously this subreddit is pretty savvy about open source but if anyone has ever been curious about the growth of open source in libraries your questions are welcome.
In the past I've noticed that some folks on the library side of things have been hesitant to ask questions publicly so you're welcome to DM questions to @EquinoxOLI, myself @roganhamby or even here on Reddit and I'll forward them anonymously. I suspect open source folks are less concerned about being 'outed' by proprietary vendors but I'll make the same offer here. :)
And yes, in the library world, tragically, there is still so much lock in from proprietary vendors that many libraries are concerned about upsetting them.

Hi, I started this project a while ago out of curiosity. Can I serialize arbitrary HTML? eg. HTML, CSS and JS functions. After I could serialize, I tried placement and editing. Then, I tried ,...
After some time, I have settled on WebCRUD
Arbitrary DOM serialization and recreation
A type system where you write some basic wrapper code (eg. onLoad, override onInit or don't) for your existing controls (eg. calendars, charts,...)
Fully dynamic system where you can introduce content, types at runtime.
All of this works on any web page where WebCRUD has been enabled via a user browser button toggle or via a JS include in your sources.
All WebCRUD functionality is extensible and can be used programmatically or via the GUI
Try going to https://webcrud.ca
Go to Demos, pick Playground or one of the other demos.
Right click, New Content and choose "Nivo Slider" for "Type". Supply some img urls and voila.
I would love your feedback. Especially if you have some cool ideas like "I wish I could ____ in a browser".
Are you a component developer? Write a WebCRUD wrapper for your component. Anyone can inject your component into their existing pages.
If we have the ability to update human movement in real-time, is it possible to use that data as an input? i.e. you wiggle your fingers and the robot hand responds by copying the motion capture it sees.
I don't know, any suggestions?
Wanted to know which academic track is better for electrical engineering. I am interested in embedded systems but also interested in electric vehicles. Which one offers a more interesting career path and better pay.
Hi,
I have recently made a new release of a new data augmentation library SOLT: https://github.com/MIPT-Oulu/solt.
Docs and examples: https://mipt-oulu.github.io/solt/.
I did not really PR it much before, since I've been really busy with my PhD, but the project is almost 2 years old. Now, when it has matured enough, I would like to share it with the community.
Some features:
You can find the examples of usage in the repo :-)
Hi all,
I've been out of the audiophile game for a long time. Now getting back in to things, just purchased some LS50s and will be investing in a new amp soon. All my music is digital, stored in FLAC on my PC. At the moment I , obviously, have to have the PC on to play music. What I ultimately want, is to be able to sit in my armchair with my Surface Go (Win 10 OS) tablet with the ability to browse my collection and select tracks without having to have the PC on.
I'm a bit lost as to the modern way of doing this. I'd like to get a NAS set up on the network as a central repository so require something to access the files and feed them in to the amp. I (probably wrongly) assume I would want to feed in to the amp digitally as the amps I'm looking at like the Rotel A14 and Cambridge CXA80 have good DACs onboard. I have no need for Spotify, radio or anything of that nature, all my music will be stored locally (on the network anyway) on a hard drive. I have heard of network streamers, network servers, network players but a lot of the things I'm seeing have an onboard DAC or amps, I think I need something simpler.
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
Hello, in this smp bedrock realm there are many cool things that can you take advantage of, besides the things I listed above there is also custom mob drops where you have a chance to get certain things, a crate system which allows you buy crates in exchange for loot.
Also if you dm me I can make a custom system to where you can give your friends money if you want. Also the shops are super easy to use and if you need help there are signs everywhere to teach you how to use them.
Also this server has only been since December 28th so itβs fresh and not full of try hards with maxed out stuff trying to kill you. Thatβs leads me to my next point, in this server everyone is super friendly and works as a community. In the first couple of days of the server being open we got over 40 people. Right now weβre looking for players in different time zones to keep the server full.
Lastly, this is a long term survival realm which means if you join there will be worries of losing your progress to me ending the server I plan on keeping it up until no one joins anymore. And we have a great admin team who can help and answer any questions you have.

The CLC (Central Library Consortium) is the 14-member group of public library systems in the area. This includes pretty much all public library systems except Westerville. Starting tomorrow night, they will be integrating Delaware County, Granville, and Pataskala into the consortium so that their patrons and current CLC patrons will now have full reciprocal access to all these libraries' collections. In order to do that, some IT people will need time to integrate the new libraries collections into the CLC database.
During the downtime, patrons will not be able to do self-checkouts (you will need to have your library card with you or know the number to check anything out), place reservations, receive previously made reservations, or access your online accounts. Most all other services will still be available during that week, but searching the online catalog may not be completely accurate, especially the number of items available you may see in search results since that information may not be be updated during the downtime.
What this means for you: during that week, nothing will become due. So, if you have any items set to be due between March 1-8, feel free to keep those until the 8th. In fact, as a librarian in one of the libraries involved, you would be doing as a favor not returning anything during that time as we cannot check them in anyway. Thanks!
2.4.0 (2017.08.15)
New version up!
We also now have a support ticket system. Users should only use the ticket system to report bugs or request features ONLY. Tickets that are created to ask simple questions that can be found in the FAQ, on reddit, or by doing a simple google search will simply be ignored. I don't want to answer thousands of emails simply because users are too lazy or too dumb to google.
https://bubbles4kodi.com/support/
The FAQ of basic/common questions is coming together slowly. If you want to contribute, you could assist in reapers doc that he just posted, and bubbles will get it added in.
In response to the current issues with PM API. A quote from Bubbles about it. "Premiumize has not gotten back to me yet. However, I added an option to Settings -> Account -> Request Method. If this option is set to "Get", PRE should work again. I highly suggest that users keep this option at default, since GET has a bunch of problems. But for now, until PRE fixed their API, users can set it to GET."
Any basic support or questions you can post here and ill try to help.
The Ensemble Meteogram (formerly EPSgram) is primarily a probabilistic representation, for a given location, of forecasts from the Ensemble system. For detailed information, see documentation at the foot of the page.
There are different types of Meteogram: 10 day, 10 day wave, 15 day, 15 day with climate, and plumes. EFI/CDF (Extreme forecast index/Cumulative distribution function) plots will be provided soon.
To generate, choose the product type and then search for a location or enter its latitude/longitude.
The Ensemble Meteogram displays the time evolution of the distribution of selected weather parameters in the ensemble forecasts (ENS) for a given location. The ENS currently comprises 50 perturbed members, each starting from slightly different initial conditions, and an unperturbed Control forecast. Altitude information for the site (if applicable) is extracted from the 30 arc-second global topography (GTOPO30) dataset, located at https://lta.cr.usgs.gov/GTOPO30.
The products currently available are:
When creating Meteograms or Wavegrams for a specific location, the four surrounding grid points are considered:
Detailed information about each product is given below.
The 10-day Meteograms provide forecast distributions at 6-hour intervals up to day 10 for the following parameters:
And by DOS, I mean using Win98's "Restart in MS-DOS mode."
I've disabled PnP OS, manually enabled all my serial and parallel ports to see what IRQs they are using (3, 4, and 7). I've set the BLASTER variable to A220 I5 D1 T4 P330
and also tried I7
, I9
, and D0
. Windows says my MPU-401 compatible sound device is at IO 330 and IRQ 5, and my SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio is on IRQ 9 and IO 1000 (but that one should just be for Windows stuff?). I have the product manual downloaded and it has some more detailed information on the I/O map but I'm not sure what to do with that information. I don't know a lot about how sound devices work on DOS so I'm not really sure what to do next. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Edit: the manual and drivers don't seem to be available directly from Intel anymore, but I already have them all downloaded. Here is the manual on another site. I linked the MMAP page and the next few pages detail the I/O addresses.
I am looking for primarily surveying devices with an integrated thermal camera. By surveying device I mean any device from which I can extract the exact position of the data. I know that TLS could have this function, like the 3d laser scanner BLK360 that has a FLIR system. What similar products do you know of ?
