A list of puns related to "Innerspeaker"
Though HFGOW is already a fan-fav, I have to mention The Sun and Vital Signs (though the latter is a cover).
Whatβs your favorite early tame Impala song and why?
I feel like Kev and the band would all decide to swing back and pay homage to the Lonerism , innerspeaker albums with the next one.
From currents to TSR he went with a much more electro funk synth sound which worked amazingly donβt get me wrong. However I think all us Tame fans can agree that innerspeaker and Lonerism were his best albums. The true psychedelic rock that paved the way for TI.
Would you guys be happy if he released an an album like that again? Or do you think he wonβt go that way and will try new stuff?
No matter how many times I play this album it doesnβt get old, like thereβs always something to pay attention to, especially when it comes to the drumming. Like it would take me so long to memorize all the little fills and details in the rhythm section alone yk, itβs wild. Easily my favorite rock album
Hi, my favorite Tame Impala album is Innerspeaker, I wanted more musics like it. What is the album main genre?
I don't listen to a lot of music, I can differ stuff like rap, reggae, rock and all but I don't know specifics (yall getting me?) I know it's rock but rock what?
If you have similar artists/albuns that'd be great too, thanks :D
Im kind of crossfaded but I had to spread my appreciation and love for inner speaker maybe the greatest psych album, much love happy christmas
Iβve been getting some records before I finally pick up a record player this holiday season and I was about to buy Lonerism on vinyl but then I thought about itβ¦ next October will be itβs 10 year anniversary should I wait to see if an Anniversary Edition boxset drops? Thereβs a pretty good chance right? I love this album, I would definitely buy the edition because I know itβll have some bonus content if it does come out :-) It would look nice next to the InnerSpeaker boxset I have.
and Currents sounds like his mind got uploaded into a computer
Just listened to Innerspeaker last night and fell in love with that raw and distorted psychedelic sound. I'm looking for bands that specifically sound like that era.
EDIT: Specifically something like Mind Mischief, Lucidity, Elephant and Desire Be Desire Go
Man, does this album always find me at such a special time in my life. I first heard this album in 2011 when I was 12 years old and just happened to purchase it on iTunes because of the cover. What followed was my music taste COMPLETELY transforming after being introduced to such a psychedelic rock sound like that. I give this album so much credit for introducing my ears to brand new sounds and instrumentations, shaping my music taste for the future.
10 years later, Iβm only a couple months away from graduating college and happen to be blasting this album again a lot more frequently. And it hitsβ¦ just so right. All of these notes and strums perfectly capture my bittersweetness regarding my entire experience with university. The sound journey of βWhy Wonβt You Make Up Your Mindβ emulates my entire experience with college so perfectly. The slow beginning into the build up of the guitar and chorus, the bridge, the ending, everything.
Innerspeaker is seriously one of the most fantastic albums of all time, I wonβt ever get over it.
Seeing if anyone would be interested in purchasing my little Tame collection. Trying to sell it all as a bundle rather than individual. I'm in Australia btw.

Idk why it took so long, I feel like a criminal.
Does anyone have a decent recording from this masterpiece?! It's one of my favorite parts of their live show, but I can't find a good recording!
Did anyone get a video of the Innerspeaker jam from last night at White Oak? It sounded incredible and I only got a recording of like a second of it.
A place to discuss the live concert we are watching.
I know it seems unlikely, but is there a chance he will want a "return to form"? Have artists done this before where they evolve their style then make an album closer to their original style?
Should he even do this? I personally love Currents, but I pine for the days of Lonerism. I think its possible he will evolve his sound again to be more of a cross between rock and psych pop, but maybe that's wishful thinking. What do you guys think?
