A list of puns related to "Incense Stick"
Hi guys, so one of the reasons I find temples soothing is how fragrant the air is - sandalwood and rose - and I'd like my room to smell amazing too.
I'm just not sure which incense sticks/cones to buy for the same effect. Ideas?
Edit: as much as like fragrance, I don't want to die of cancer, so if you have safer options in mind, do share.
im not sure how many logs are typically obtained each day, but if you are using the full 4-stack effect, you are using atleast 180k worth of sticks. that means youd have to have more than 6 procs just to break even. how often does that happen?
In Hinduism, we light agarbatti (incense sticks) as offerings to God. They are made from natural materials like flowers and woods and are burned to produce a scent, leaving behind a lot of ash. I am not sure if the ash is safe for plants or humans that consume those plants despite hearing that ash in general is good for compost, Instead of throwing away the ash, can I mix it in my plant waste for my compost?
Iβve heard a lot of different temperatures Iβve asked before with no definitive answer . It glows bright orange indicating at very , very high temperature hotter than molten aluminum ( which it canβt melt even when a small bead is on the coal ) but hotter points of combustion such as sparklers can ! Much Cooler objects such as oven racks and curling irons cause much more serious burns in the same amount of seconds , but they take up to 10 minutes to ignite paper an incense cherry can do it in 3 seconds ! if this was really about heat conductivity ( meaning the incense has less ) wouldnβt it prevent it from igniting paper so quick in the same way it lessens skin injuries . donβt get me wrong serious burns from incense tips can still happen , but oven racks do it faster !
Hello all, I really love burning Ken/Yi-Xin's pure Mysore and Hawaiian sandalwood sticks, but finding them a little costly (ends up adding up). I'm looking for something similar that I can burn daily for less price. What are your favourite pure sandalwood sticks?
Currently many of the incense sticks are fairly expensive to use and it's mostly because it takes ages to make them, not so much because of the material costs. However, some do have expensive materials that up the price.
The idea of the incense stick update was to remove logs, ashes and herbs from the game, but only a small community of people make them for a profit.
From an Ironman point of view it takes ages to make them for personal use too.
Would be cool to have a machine that can make a good chunk of them every week for use. Would also remove tons of logs, ashes and herbs from the game since people could use the machines for a small weekly profit, similar to using alcher machines, plank makers or disassemblers for simple parts.
I just tried 3 Shoyeido incense sticks. I also tried some other incense sticks in the past, of course.
I mean no disrespect, but I've never liked any of them. Never. I always feel like they smell a bit fake/fragrances/chemical...
The only incenses I actually like are raw resins/wood/oils burned on charcoal (or electric burner) or incense sticks I make myself, with pure ingredients.
Someone else like me?
I have recently falled in love with the smell of agarwood and would love to try agarwood scented incense sticks/cones. Any good brands ?
Hey Iβm looking to treat myself to something after a crazy week! I want something to remind me of my summers I spent in Japan which were always filled with hinoki pollen. So any recommendations for a good hinoki incense?
I am planning to start a Incense Stick Business in my hometown. So anyone here provide me some tips and cautiouns to keep in mind.
HiHi, Im considering either to buy an arabic burner or try JP sticks as after my research they might have high quality. Id like to ask few questions, it may sound dumb or silly, but I have no experience, so kindly asking here for help. I'dlike to know for example, if You use it just because of nice flavour or you practice Buddhism or things Japanese culture related, if so please share. I wonder, what might be my best bet, budget isnt issue. Im lookimg for high quality, but available in Europe. Id also like to know Your favourite ones and if You can describe them a bit. Also dont know any good youtube channel as a resource or good books on this topic. If I buy something, I dont want headache as I was warned some dipped sticks may cause, so rather something relaxing, calming but with fresh tones if I maay request;-) I want to thank to everyone, who is willing to make things clear to me, because it will help me a lot with my descision. Have a great rest of the weekend!!
Just looking for a place that sells a higher volume than the small packs offered at Earth Fare. Anyone know? Otherwise I'll order Etsy but I'd rather go local!
Suggest your favorite homemade stick incense recipe!
I will try them all and report back, except if I can't find the ingredients! It may take some time, though.
I'm currently experimenting a lot and I'd like to learn from you. Resins, woods, essential oils, anything. What is your favorite homemade sticks recipe? Makko powder as a base? Something else?
Note that I'm open to very specific recipes such as "use this exact resin from vendor X".
Thank you /r/incense!
I just got the incense today and I was researching as it was burning( I know I shouldnβt have but there is no going and changing that) and it said that itβs lethal to them. Please let me know if thereβs anything I can possibly do
Am I able to crush up incense from pre-rolled sticks, then roll it into the shape of a backflow cone?
If so, what what should I mix the powder from the crushed incense sticks with in order to achieve a moldable consistency that will set?
I LOVE rainforest from Satya Sai and Osmanthus from Nippon Kodo Kayuragi
Basically title. I entered a store that smelled so dope. I said what are you burning in here. The lovey waitress said Iβll bring you a sample of the incense. But the incense did not have a name nor did she know the scent. Thus, I would like someone experienced with smells to determine what makes up the scent. Thank you community
What are the best incense sticks on amazon? I've been reading the comments of the top ones but it seems like there are mixed opinions and I just can't make up my mind. Ideally, I'd like something with a traditional-ish Indian smell but I enjoy anything that's not too strong or too chemical-y.
Edit: I've been looking at Amazon's incense reviews for about half an hour now... I don't think buying incense should be that hard *cries*
