Houseguest Puns

Like you don’t know why you like them, and you can kinda understand why others don’t, but you just do. Doesn’t have to be game related; just more you have a sweet spot towards them.

How do you go about telling houseguests that you have guns in the house? I had an interesting conversation with friends who are uncomfortable that I didn’t tell them before they came over that there were guns in the house. When I asked when and how they would have liked me to approach the topic and they couldn’t answer. Have any of you found a way to bring up the topic with new guests?

I am doing a rewatch/watching seasons I haven’t seen before, and I find myself liking a houseguest much more on their original season than when they return. Is anyone better the 2nd+ time around?

I know he a good person but BB11/22 Kevin would get on my last nerves. He tend to have a whiny pitch when he strategies that make me not want to work with him or even deal with him.

BB4 Amanda. Chill person.Her personality and tone of voice would make me want her our over a potential threat in Jee.

BB3 Josh. Simply too much.

I'm probably alone in this, but one of my favorite little pleasures on feeds is watching with horror while a bunch of houseguests try to cook a coherent meal without a recipe. I feel like a laugh, so any past examples of some godawful cooking in the house?

VENT. My MIL came to stay with us for Xmas from across the country. We do not get along. She is miserable, negative, condescending, and judgemental. Has something negative to say for just about everything, and disagrees or tries to argue with almost everything that I say. Thinks she is better than everyone, and is a total know-it-all. We do not have a guest room so she sleeps on a foam pad in the middle of our living room/dining room. This is the first visit that we finally had a blow up and I yelled at her. So things have been extra awkward. I have insomnia and get up every night for 1-2 hrs and go downstairs to do stuff, obviously I cannot do that now because it will wake the princess. She wants the Xmas tree lights off b/c she can't sleep, complains that the TV is too loud, the kids are too loud, gets annoyed if we don't go to sleep when she wants to because we are loud. She opens food and just leaves it open on the counter and never puts it away, leaves dirty dishes too, yet she is a super anal clean freak at her own home. I feel like a prisoner in my house. I avoid talking to her at this point. Yesterday we went to look at Xmas lights and watch a singing Xmas house, and she was miserable the whole time. The music is too loud, its too hot or cold, it's taking too long, xmas lights are "garrish", and the kids were too loud for her. She claims she is here to see the grandkids, but barely spends any time with them. She sits on the couch and reads, plays on her phone, or solitaire on her computer. Ignores them 90% of the time. In the car before the argument started, she made some nasty comment under her breath to my 6 yr old daughter about me! She is so inappropriate. I'm so anxious about taking her to my family Xmas gatherings. It is clear she does not want to go, but she will come anyways. I think I'm telling my husband she is no longer welcome to stay at our house. Oh and now the SIL, who also dislikes her like I do...or so I thought...is turning into her! That is a whole other drama. I think I'm done with this family. TOXIC.

This isn't a "favorite of each season" list is instead a list of the houseguest who was the backbone of their season that created conflicts/scenarios/gameplay that played out on the edited show. You do not have to like them to recognize their impact on their season.

Do you really only have one hour to pack?

Do they give you a packing list?

What happens to all the foods you don't eat?

Can haves eat any of the have not foods? (I like liver and catfish too!)

How do you deal with the mess/slobs in the house?

Not your favorite houseguests or the ones you liked or admired the most, but houseguests whose personalities you think would mesh well with your own? Like Janelle is one of my favorite houseguests of all time, but I don’t know that we’d click if we lived together. However, I definitely could see myself being very close friends with Britney Haynes, Keesha Smith, Tiffany Mitchell, and Nakomis. I also think I’d get along with Memphis really well because we both have A LOT in common when it comes to our fathers. These are just the people I can think of right now that stand out to me.

I've got house guests that want to be able to watch Jeopardy while the current champion is making a big run. We can't figure it out streaming. No cable. I set up an over the air antenna but I can't find the Raleigh ABC station that I think is the local carrier. (Or I don't think I can...I don't watch much TV obviously so I'm not sure how I would know if I had done it right). Any advice?

Edit: we never could get it working on antennas. Apparently the hills in chapel hill are an issue for this kind of thing. They ended up using the "burn a free trial" idea. Thanks all!

Aside from recent AMAs. I saw a post yesterday (not actually posted yesterday but a year or so ago) about BB12’s Saboteur and Matt had commented on it. Just curious on what other houseguests are in this sub

Watching BB15 (I know) and the crowd loudly cheers during the first eviction as some houseguests cast their vote for David to go home, and boo when people vote Elissa. Can the houseguests hear them?

Also in BB14 I remember someone said they could hear the crowd during the double eviction and thus knew they loved Frank.

Who do you want to watch play Celebrity Big Brother this Winter? Any early predictions?

I would love to see Chris Tucker, Dirk Nowitzki (no height challenges please), Amy Poehler, Emelio Estevez, or Davey Havok (although I don’t think he would ever do it) play. Who do you think will take up the “roles” the cast usually contains? Like athlete, actor/actress, musician, etc?

My dad's high school friend's 19 yo son came over to stay THREE fucking weeks at our house for the holidays. So we don't know him at all. He doesn't drive, needs me or my dad to drive him around for everything. Decided to get his driver's license during the stay. But doesn't know anything!! Like who the fuck has the time to keep driving you to the fucking DMV when you don't even have your fucking documents correct and ready??! My dad bought him a football cuz he heard that he likes soccer. And this bitch just keeps kicking the ball against our furniture and walls like our house is a fucking playground. He found out that I have a ukulele and uses it to make horrible noises every single day! He's short and skinny af but eats like a fucking pig but still VERY picky! Never asks for permission before opening our fucking fridge and devouring entire bags of stuff without us knowing. Never turn off the fucking lights when he leaves his room despite me reminding him multiple times. Uses my weights in the garage without asking me! Goes into my parents' bedroom at midnight asking for shit one second after knocking without hearing them say "come in"!!!!! Like how old are you, don't you know people need privacy??? Thank god he will be gone on the 2nd. He destroyed my winter break so hard I literally wanna fucking murder him!

Could it truly be anyone else? Change my mind.

So far it seems like a bunch of bullies. I especially cannot stand Ivette. Her little fight with Kaymar made me want to jump in the screen and punch her in the face for him. I was actually surprised he stood up the way he did and I know I shouldn't condone his behavior but I completely understood where he was coming from and I am just watching, and am in no way effected personally yet it still angers you as if you are in the situation. It is so exhausting watching all the little tattlers run to Eric and twist and dramatize what was actually going on, and then Eric take hear say info and react overly. I am so over Eric and all his sheep, especially Ivette. Too bad the season ends how it does :(

Please tell me the public felt the same way ...I so badly want to see them be annihilated during an interview or in an article.

Also, does anything ever come of Jennifer locking the HOH room on Rachel?
