A list of puns related to "Hindu Temple"
For example in sree padhmanabhaswamy temple of kerala, it is estimated more than 22 billion usd worth of gold is kept. Why is the gold kept here in idle? Couldn't it be used for improving lives of the people in poverty and overall condition of kerala especially since temple is state owned.
Furthermore I am more confused as to why exactly it is that temples must be state run when they have so much money to sustain themselves already autonomously.
Eg: in 2015, 1 tril USD was found in the temple https://www.forbes.com/sites/jimdobson/2015/11/13/a-one-trillion-dollar-hidden-treasure-chamber-is-discovered-at-indias-sree-padmanabhaswam-temple/?sh=5aeebca21ba6
Hello everybody, me and my close friend are planning on attending a morning Hindu service on Monday. I would absolutely love to learn about the customs/traditions/ etc ? for entering, going through a service, because we are very eager to learn, and experience this, and we do not want to accidentally offend any. Thank you :)
Hey everyone,
Just found out about a new drive thru COVID testing location at the HSNC morrisville. They seem to be conducting PCR tests with a promised turnaround time of 1-2 days. Not sure if it has been mentioned here before but thought I will let people know. The testing is being run by Ottendorf Laboratories.
I recently visited the Omkareshwar Temple in Madhya Pradesh and was shocked to see the filth around the Temple Premises. There were pigs running around pooping on the temple path, people were throwing garbage all over the path and there were open gutters that sprayed sewage on you as soon as you leave the temple.Due to this the holy Narmada river near the temple is so polluted. This cannot be accepted.
I went to Srinathji temple in 2014 where my mom was literally about to get trampled due to overcrowding although Iβve heard that theyβve resolved that issue.Iβm happy to see some change occurring.
On the other hand temples run by ISKCON and Swaminarayan are immaculate and no over-crowding issues occur there. This should be the norm in all the temples.
We as a community need to make sure that our holy sites arenβt polluted and no one should feel burdened after visiting a pilgrimage site.
Thank you for listening to my rant.
