A bucket fell from a truck on the highway and I ended up running over it at 80MPH, didn’t think it caused much harm until later on in the day when my air suspension went out. Turns out it ripped off half my splash shield and cut through what looks like cords for the air compressor. FeelsBadMan.

What's up with the highway shields in waze?
Is it just me or do the shields look weird and squished? It's like the more numbers the route has and the app just stretches the shield, they look out of proportion. I know I'm nitpicking but it just bugs me a little lol.

New windshield! I know I posted yesterday, but here is my new windshield! Works like a charm on the highway - maybe if they had a smoked version instead of a blacked out shield, it would've been better so at least I can see a little bit though it. Otherwise it looks good and feels good!

Ugly new highway shield icon on Google Earth
Have you guys noticed the new highway shield icon on Google Earth? I find it really ugly it looks oddly proportioned especially on 1 digit highway numbers. There was nothing wrong with the old design and looks like google maps is still using the old design thankfully. Additionally I have been noticing some graphical glitches when displaying place/road names on Google Earth with opaque rectangles popping up and this has only been happening since the new shield design.
Would love it if someone could photoshop the window shield and windows to make it look like my 1yo is racing down a highway or on a racetrack. Thanks!

2017 elantra se. Lower engine shield got torn off on the highway due to debris...
So my wife ran over some debris on the highway which led to the lower engine shield being torn off. I think she dragged it for a mile before the noise got so bad she finally clued in lol. Well I got it up on ramps and saw the damage, Not good. The shield was torn off at all the bolted sections except for the three at the rear which held. Even worse was the bracket that is part of the lower section of the radiator support that holds the middle bolts broke of severely and is completely gone. Has anyone had experience having this replaced or doing it themself? Does it involve the entire radiator mount removal or is there a lower attachment that can be bolted on. Also it seems like the radiator mount is pretty secure even without the full bottom section. I am tempted to not go through an expensive repair or tedious diy and just put a new shield on with the three rear bolts and the clips on the bumper section. I am just worried that willl not be secure enough and will fall off without being bolted on the lower radiator section.
Any suggestions or experience with this? Or a link to a diy video?

Under engine Splash shield tore out on the highway randomly and the bracket seems to be broken too.
2016 huyandai elantra. There is also a random wire loose under there with two prongs on one end and a yellow color. Not sure Wtf that is.
Any idea on if this is something I should diy or see if the warantee covers the repair.
Not sure what that bracket mount should cost to replace but the splash shield itself would be pretty easy.
