Gogyo Puns

In canon it's a badly written "One and Done" Seal used to nerf Naruto in the Preliminaries and to make Naruto look like a pathetic joke where he only manages to beat Kiba because he farted (Naruto without the Five Element Seal makes like 300 Clones and beats Kiba the same way he beat Mizuki, GG Easy but no skill involved, just swarmy numbers), and to introduce him to Jiraiya who removes it but it never comes up again despite the potential relevance it SHOULD have had?

The Akatsuki using it to subdue Jinchuuriki that go full Bijuu rather than "We overpower a fucking Bijuu" they use it to take down the Jinchuuriki for capture.

Naruto learning it "Hey if I'm fighting Gaara can I learn that seal that creepy Snake bastard used on me?" and Jiraiya shrugs and teaches it to him.

Jiraiya using it to train Naruto so he doesn't almost die when Naruto goes 4 tailed cloak in the Timeskip.

Naruto coming across Yugito Pre-skip and she attacks Team 7, Kakashi fights her and Naruto lands the Seal on her.

There are so many options, but I've only ever seen it come up as "It messes Chakra Control up so I use it to train because if i Have Chakra Control with that on then it's perfect with it off" and never for the purpose it was used for (Casually stopping someone using Bijuu Chakra and KO'ing them)

Hello, reddit community. I know there is a daily questions post, but I was unsure if those among you who knew Japanese would frequent it. I would simply like to know what the text on the Doman SCH weapon (Gogyo Sosei Kai) and the Doman SMN weapon (Gogyo Sokoku Kai) means. They share the same text, so I will just supply a picture of my SCH wielding the Gogyo Sosei Kai:

I think the weapon is very artistic and interesting, and I know that the mysterious meaning behind the Japanese text will bother me to no end if someone does not help. =(

Also, here is what I know of the tomes from independent research thus far, in case that information helps with translation in some way (this is also the description I have under the imgur post):

"Godai" refers to the Japanese localization of the ancient Chinese idea that the world was fundamentally made up of five elements. In China, these elements were Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, and Metal. In Japan, Wood and Metal were replaced with Wind and Void, respectively. The names of the Doman SCH and SMN weapons, "Gogyo Sosei Kai" and "Gogyo Sokoku Kai" are based off of complementary elemental cycles, with the "Kai" on the dyeable versions merely indicating that the original had been "reformed".

"Gogyo Sosei" (the name of this SCH weapon) refers to the Chinese Feng cycle, the cycle of elemental creation, where each element played a role in the creation of another element (Water helped create Wood/Wind, which helped create Fire, which helps create Earth, which helped create Metal/Void, which helps create Water, etc). As SCH's primary focus is on healing, it makes sense that their tome would focus on utilizing the creative elemental cycle in order to restore others' health.

"Gogyo Sokoku" (the name of the corresponding SMN weapon) refers to the Chinese Ko cycle, the cycle of elemental destruction or control, where each element played a "checks and balances"-type role in keeping another element in harmony with the rest (Water helped keep Fire in check, which helped keep Metal/Void in check, which helped keep Wood/Wind in check, which helped keep Earth in check, which helped keep Water in check, etc). As SMN's primary focus is on damage, it makes sense that their tome would focus on utilizing the destructive elemental cycle in order to eliminate their foes.

*A question remains, however: What is this mysterious text that appears in identical form on the cover of both the Gogyo Sosei Kai and the Gogy

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.

Try telling these sexual jokes that get posted here, to your kid and see how your spouse likes it.. if that goes well, Try telling one of your friends kid about your sex life being like Coca cola, first it was normal, than light and now zero , and see if the parents are OK with you telling their kid the "dad joke"

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
