A list of puns related to "Gladden"
Elrond knew about the importance of the ring and why it needed to be destroyed. Why didn't he immediately go on a search and recovery expedition upon learning of Isildur's fate, especially since Isildur was coming to Rivendell to give the ring to Elrond anyways?

Mediocretes - Gladden
I've just started my Champion character (lvl17) and would love to play together with more people. I'm quite a beginner and wouldn't mind tips, trick and overall good company :) Add me of you're interested: Aisaco
I've been lurking on this subreddit for about a month, and I see that I'm not the only player to come back to lotro after a long break. I have a lifetime account plus a premium account, 20 alts mostly on gladden, and most are lvl 75 to 100. I decided to restart a new alt and I stuck with gladden because it feels like home and I have all the crafts which should help me lvl. I do think I'll eventually start a toon on Treebeard because I'd love to rerun moria again. Anyway, I have a few questions that I couldn't find answers to elsewhere. Oh this is on mobile, so sorry of it doesn't format.
Thanks for your time, it's been so fun playing again.
He did passed through Greenwood the Great or Mirkwood. Did the numenoreans visit Thranduil before the disaster?
The Lore Seekers of Gladden are recruiting new members. We are made up of members who not only enjoy the game but like to dive deeper into the history of ME. We focus on helping each other have as much fun as possible in a not so serious way. If you are new to the game and want to experience it with others around the same level, message me or visit https://loreseekers.enjin.com/ for more info.
Hey! First time getting back into LOTRO in almost 3 years, very fun checking out the new stuff. I've always only been F2P, so I'm a bit limited with what u can do but I still enjoy myself. Anyone wanna hang out a bit while I relearn my RK? I'll be on for another hour or two tonight, send me a PM!!
After Sauron was defeated by Elendil and Gil-Galad, how would he know specifically that Isildur took the ring and that Isildur died at Gladden Fields with the Ring in the Anduin River? It's not like Sauron had a chain of custody report of the Ring after it was taken from him.
Iβm just getting started again and want to make sure I end up in the most active server I can. I wasnβt too particular the first time I tried and ended up in a pretty dead one. It looks like one of these two would be my best bet? Not looking to RP that much, just want to be able to find groups for raids n such down the line and a nice PUG here and there. Are there guilds? Thank you π
Hello! As the title suggests I've got a level 130 hunter on Gladden, and I'm looking for a kinship. I've exclusively solo'd my way thus far and would like to start running instances, and I'm sure I'll need some guidance. I previously played LOTRO many years ago (2007-2008) and returned early this year. I also enjoy crafting and helping others with the game. I'm not really sure why, but I feel weird about just asking for a kin in world chat and figured I'd see if anyone here is looking for a new kinmate. Thanks in advance!

I'm sure this is nothing new, but why was Isildur even matching up the Anduin? He'd have leave his own lands and have to cross the Misty Mountains to return to Arnor that way. Why not return via Eriador?
When Gandalf is recounting the White Council's discussions about the Ring, Saruman states that the Ring is lost in the depths of the sea. This has always seemed a somewhat unlikely explanation, given the distance (hundreds of miles?) between the Gladden Fields and the mouth of and Anduin. Especially when the river grows wider and slower, it's hard to see a ring made of gold (very heavy) rolling all that distance on its own - but all of the White Council seem to be convinced by this explanation.
Saruman was the expert here, and they didn't have any reason not to trust him, but even so, it seems like a bit of a stretch. His voice certainly has power (as we see elsewhere), so that may also be a factor.
But when I was re-reading the Council of Elrond, I couldn't help noticing the phrasing that Saruman uses. He doesn't say "it rolled down the River", he says "it was rolled down River":
> "At the worst," said he, "our Enemy knows that we have it not and that it still is lost. But what was lost may yet be found, he thinks. Fear not! His hope will cheat him. Have I not earnestly studied this matter? Into Anduin the Great it fell; and long ago, while Sauron slept, it was rolled down the River to the Sea. There let it lie until the End."
Does this this perhaps him suggesting that there was some other power at work here (Ulmo?), who played an active part in making sure that the Ring ended up in the sea? It would certainly make it a more convincing argument.
There are two other times the phrase "was rolled" are used in The Fellowship of the Ring. One is in Frodo's dream in the house of Tom Bombadil:
> That night they heard no noises. But either in his dreams or out of them, he could not tell which, Frodo heard a sweet singing running in his mind; a song that seemed to come like a pale light behind a grey rain-curtain, and growing stronger to turn the veil all to glass and silver, until at last it was rolled back, and a far green country opened before him under a swift sunrise.
The other is when he's alone in the Barrow Downs, just before being seized by the barrow-wight:
> He imagined suddenly that he caught a muffled cry, and he made towards it; and even as he went forward the mist was rolled up and thrust aside, and the starry sky was unveiled.
Neither of these cases seem like natural events - they appear to be in influence of the Valar (allowing passage to the Undying Lands) and the barrow-wight (controlling the mist) respectivel

Is anyone interested in joining a static group on Gladden that would group together at a scheduled time 2-3 times a week Est time in the evenings? The plan would be to start new characters so the group is well rounded and run all the group content as we level up. Ideally we could use the Stone of the Tortoise so we don't over level areas. I understand the legendary servers are ideal for this but my friend is F2P.
A few years ago or maybe during spring training last year, I can't remember, Dan told a story how when he was 6 he got lost in the woods overnight. Newspapers.com has a free weekend and found this story from The Times (San Mateo, California) from 1963.

I have been doing this backwards choosing to be jealous of the qualities of others. Thinking over this quote makes me realize how silly that is. Why should I be envious of others whose own qualities are used to help? I am jealous because I wish I could be that clever, empathic, intelligent, or confident; silly. I can flip my script instead and focus on how lucky to be around so many quality people. The best part is that I can learn from them and think too what unique qualities I also bring to the table.
Asking because its my favorite performance ever and it was what made me a huge fan. Unfortunately in like 2019, they took the video down from youtube, and ive never been able to find it again.
As the title says. Ulmo is said to be the most involved of the Valar in ME after the first age and still had some connection to the land. Was he aware that Isildur had died where he did and that the ring had been in a reachable river for thousands of years? Could he have told the Istari about this before they went to ME as a little heads up?
I'm a level 53 Elf Hunter, And I'm finding it harder and harder to go it alone. I'm a weaponsmith, and I have an alt who is a jeweler. I'm a mellow, middle aged married woman and I live in Ireland. I'm not the fastest player and I have a lot to learn, but I love the game and play pretty much daily.
He fought Sauron face to face and was a skilled and honorable warrior. Did the influence of the Ring make him cowardly? Was he being evacuated to safety Secret Service to US President style?
I thought I saw missed spots on my freshly painted popcorn (asbestos) ceiling (used Glidden pink to white)... so I thought Iβd do a quick second coat with the valspar interior no frills flat. My ceiling is still pink! How long will it take for the paint to dry?? Freakin out over here...
