A list of puns related to "Geomancer"
I JUST REMEMBERED I WAS DOING AN EMERALD RUN AND I FOUND A RAID CAPTAIN SO I WAS GONNA KILL HIM BUT YOU KNOW HOW THEY SRE ALWAYS SURROUNDED BY A COUPLE MORE MOBS, THERE WERE ABOUT 15 GEOMANCERS IN 1 SPOT AND THEY BASICALLY REMOVED THAT ENTIRE PART OF THE MAP
That is all.
Shouldn't Geomancer be doing more damage?
Ash's video on Geomancer showed him dominating in damage against the Clan Boss. As I understand it, this should be from his passive.
But, as you can see, he's not doing that damage for me.
My best guess as to why is that Ninja also has an HP burn, and Geomancer's passive only works if Geomancer is the one who landed the burn. Could that be the whole problem?
Here are his stats and equipment:
One of my players is somewhat new to the system and will be playing a Druid with Geomancer dedication in our upcoming campaign. I was wondering if anyone had already made a list with all the spells that she could use divided by level and trait so she would have an easier time figuring out what to prepare each day.
Keep all Geo related topic here related to the bug. I locked all existing threads and will remove all further ones.
If you want to discuss the "nerf", go here: https://www.reddit.com/r/RaidShadowLegends/comments/q1x3oc/geomancer_nerf_i_sure_dont_recall_this_being/ We are also removing any other Geomancer nerf threads.
So I'm working with a dual class/low level (just story battles for the most part) challenge. I decided on Ramza plus two generics and Boco (only on fights where he doesn't get one-shot in the first turn) WoTL Android. I'm level 43 and the Construct 7 battle just seems impossible, I can't survive 2 turns. The only battle I've had to cheese was Weigraf because I didn't know about the Chameleon robe trick. Any ideas other than to level up or add a special character?
There are two issues that we are aware of. Geo had a new bug which has since been patched. Do not think there is much to discuss as that situation is over.
The other issue is whether or not if he has been Nerfed. (Note: I am taking no position on this at this time). Here is Plarium's official statement:
---------------
Raiders, we'd like to shed some light on the recent changes with the Geomancer's Passive Skill Stoneguard [P]. Geomancer has been neither buffed nor nerfed. In version 4.70, we fixed some issues that occurred with certain Passive Skills that caused the game to freeze, lock up, and crash. These issues affected the Geomancer's Stoneguard Passive Skill, and are now fixed by changing it so that the damage from his Passive no longer triggers certain Masteries (Warmaster, Giant Slayer). Instead, that damage will now ignore the target's DEF (please, notice that this ignore of DEF is not specified in the Skill's description in the game, but we will fix it). Also, to compensate for the change, we've updated his Passive Skill to deal additional damage, that scales up based on the enemy's max HP, to keep it's power level and make sure that GeΠΎmancer is as effective as he was before the current rebalance.
-------------------
Plarium also told us moderators:
------------------
Our intention is to keep the damage output at the same level. If fixing the bug caused any changes in actual performance - we will try to research and fix it to make sure the value of this champion does not change.
---------------------
The Reddit moderators have been discussing this with one of Plarium's CMs. One thing we are telling Plarium is that if they are impacting the mastery setup, they should give everyone a free mastery reset on Geomancer. If someone can give concrete numbers on pre/post 4.70 on Geomancer changes, we will be happy to pass it along, but I doubt we will get anywhere with Plarium without actual data to back it up.
Thanks.
Hi, i need advice to build a brand new Geomancer i got in this 2x shard event (only him and Conelia are the good pulls i got in 41 shards). I see many videos that i need to put Lifesteal gear + Giant Slayer but heΒ΄s a champ that got a lot of changes and I donΒ΄t think this is ideal anymore.
Do I need to replace Lifesteal from another one? I understand that for now we have to use Warmaster because his passive doesnΒ΄t proc Giant Slayer anymore
i was thinking to going double man eater ,seeker, leader fu shan, and geomancer.
i saw the baconeater geomancer setup 1 key, and was thinking why not fu sham? more speed aura and more dmg than deacon, but is possible? and what must be the speed tunes then?? i dont understand the speed tunes from deadwood , so if someone have this comp will be apreciate.
pd:sorry for bad english im not native
So. I have finally pulled a Corpulent Cadaver!!
Iβm currently running an Infinite Shield comp (Krisk, Krisk, Demytha, Brogni and Geomancer). Iβm making it to about 55M damage a key and slowly trending up as I optimise their gear.
Do you think Iβd see a major jump in damage by replacing Geomancer (heβs doing 20-25M damage a run) with Cadaver?
Hi all!
I'm a newbie in this game, I want to start a co-op campaign with another newbie friend (we will be only 2, without npcs with us)
I want to play an Undead Geomancer, because I like that I can deal damage & heal me with a single spell, but I don't know what I should take as a second ability. Necromancer, so I heal even more when I deal damage? Also, which attributes, skills and talents do you suggest me to pick at the start?
Thanks!
what is the most efficient way to do this, i'm so used to to playing naegling warrior. so going into CP farming as a support is a bit of a new territory for me.
my gear is solstice(i should augment this to path D), dunna, azimuth hood, baqua tunic +1, geo mitains, azimuth gaithers +1, bagua pants, 2 stikini rings, lifestream cape, incanters torque(yes i went big on this one), eschan stone, evans earring, dignitary's earring(im really lacking in the earring department, i know about Gna and fulla earring going to take awhile to get those) this brings me to item level 116 with 891 in geomancy with 9 job points. so how shoulld i go about this. switch out non plussed gear for jhakri which will lower my geomancy by a bit?
also what spells should i use?
maybe its better to get a full jahkri set and go to nuke town?
I've noticed that lots of players use Geomancer on their Hard Mode Eternal Dragon and Dreadhorn teams. Could anyone please share their builds/minimum stats for these bosses and how best to use him?
Thanks for any replies.
SOLVED
I just started Disgaea 2 on Steam and wanted to unlock Geomancer by making a 500 combo chain. At what stage/episode can I easily achieve this, and how to do it.
Your moderators have been relaying a summary of what you all have been saying to Plarium. Due to you all and members of other social media, Plarium is making the following changes in a few minutes:
I know there are complaints about the healing mechanism working differently and that was relayed on. All I ask is that you all withhold judgement until you test the latest fix.
Update from Plarium (I didn't include the whole message just the important part):
----------------
Unfortunately, there is one side effect of the fix that cannot be avoided: the new passive will not allow healing from the Lifesteal Set or Leech debuff. Nevertheless, Geomaster still will be able to heal from his Active Skills.
Our ultimate goal was to maintain the damage dealt by this Champion to the Clan Boss on the same level. We were striving to implement the changes in such a way so that Geomancer wonβt suffer because of the fix we had to make.
-------------------
I do understand how these paragraphs conflict with each other. I'd like to hear some real world CB data on how their healing changes affects players so I can forward it onto them.
Hi guys, I'm playing DOS1 after playing DOS2 and I want to make a ranger that have skills in both archery and summoning, just like I did to Ifan. I've realized that the summonings are present in the geomancy school of magic (not like in DOS2 where there's a whole school of summoning). Do you think that Marskman and Geomancer work well together?
As title says, is there any up to date guide out there? I'm using ffxiah but that's from 2013....there's another one in bg-wiki from 2018 (I think), but it still feels outdated. Basically the only thing I know for sure is that if I want to get Idris, I'll have to Max fame in all the coalitions (aka: 6 months) and being on Asura, it's pretty much mandatory for end game content lol
