Looking to design a bounty hunter ship for a fanfiction by heavily modifying a Deep-X Explorer, remembering what I've seen on some ship breakdowns from YouTube such as the ARC-170 the main issue for heavy starfighter blasters is the slow rate of fire espically in dog fights so thought a heavy gatling blaster like design similar to the GAU-8 IRL or the Z-6 rotary blaster cannon from the SWU but starfighter scale could work. Does anything like this already exist or would I be better having my character build a pair of scaled up Z-6's from scratch using something like the nose guns of Tri-fighter Droids. Also the main issue of running out of juice for the Z-6 design would be solved by being connected to the ships power systems.
