Anyone else using him? He's really not that bad, I tried him out in place of TA3 Salvy and I've been doing way better with him. Also I find for some reason he will very often turn bad swings in to cheesy bloopers over the infielders for a single, way more than any other batters I've used so far. If not then who's your choice of catcher right now?

Seriously slow swing, every perfect/perfect is a line out or picturesque single, 52 power vs RHP and they ask for doubles or greater? Pure punishment.

Holy moly, his moments are a pain. I can't even get a double with him let alone a walk off homer against the Cardinals. Suggestions?
Been going at this thing for two days now and it's just not happening. Been playing tonight for about three hours and still can't get it done. At this point it's out of sheer spite that I want to complete it. This card is useless and I suck.

This card blows so the best way to do it is turn on directional hitting, hold up and in, and contact swing. Finish 3 of the 4 moments, do the catcher HR’s mission. And then buy Shibe, play orioles on rookie at Shibe, pitch 1 inning, use GC at lead off, wash, rinse and repeat.
This 5XBH series can go straight to hell, bc its definitely made by satan himself. So much work for a card im NEVER gonna use….
I am gonna make my self a nice dinner, sit down in my comfiest pajamas, pour myself a glass of my favorite beer, and quicksell the absolute shit out of this card. These moments have been the most infuriating garbage i have ever dealt with in all my years of MLB The Show.

I just don't understand how SDS thought it was a good idea for a moment to tally 5 XBH for a card that is this bad and then pair you against Padres. I would have better luck with a bronze or below card at this rate. I've been trying off and on for 2 days trying to get this challenge done and I can't. I have tried doing the missions to get home runs and XBH missions at coors field and I still can't get those done. I just don't understand the thought process....
Any one else pick up gary carter in there evolution pack and have a hard time doing his moments? This dude is so garbage.
I'm not kidding or being sarcastic. I'm trying to do his evolution and no matter how good of contact I make I can't get anything to the warning track.

I finally got to the 5 XBH moment and everyone’s right, this moment is pure hell, and on par with the Higgy and Gehrig moments for me. (I might hate Carter the most due to so many perfect hits not being rewarded)
My question is, is it easier to get the 5 XBH by playing on rookie mode in Coors? I figured trying online with him is a new level of hell, but is that doable too?
Or should I just forget about Carter entirely and save my time?

Skip it. Do the collection, hit three hrs with catchers, and then hit five xbh hits in play vs CPU with Carter. The easiest way to do this is play Rockies on rookie, away, and use directional hitting aimed up and inside. I hit five xbh in about ten ab doing this. Much less painful than that awful moment.
Can f*** all the way off...5 extra base hits with a card that has sub 65 power for both f***ing sides..."Stepping in is the hall of fame catcher...the imposing power bat of....Gary Carter, the power hitter..." My ass, if you perfect perfect a hanging change and it flies out to center your ass isn't a power anything...5 extra base hits in 3 god damn games, whose dumb idea was this f***ing moment. Hours and hours trying to hit 5 f***ing extra bases with a god damn pool noodle rookie card for 15k XP and a card I'll never f***ing use. F*********************k... Gary f***ing Carter.
