So with this weekends announcement I think the writing is on the wall.
I as a tyranid player will be toning back my gaming, especially against marines (some builds at least) until the game becomes more balanced.
I just dont like being tabled in the first half of turn two, it isnt fun.
I have a few friends who play marines and are careful to not bring broken lists, a space wolf guy and a blood angels player who bring fluffy (pun intended for the wolves!) lists with lots of diversity and the games go to turn 3 or 4 and are fun for all. But if my opponent whips out 3 x 10 man squads of new heavy intercessors, the super melta gun guys and some of the primaris land speeders I'll just concede after deployment lol.
I dont mean to sound butthurt but I dont know how else to solve the problem? I even tried bringing really hard tyranid lists and if i copy some tournament style lists i can compete against more casual marine lists but with these new announcements i dont stand a snowballs chance in the eye of terror lol. so for now I will be taking a break from playing against marines, and maybe if enough people do the same GW may notice? but more likely ill just be avoiding them until the tyranid codex drops (whenever that will be).
what do you guys and gals think? am I alone or perhaps overreacting?
Edit: Some of you complained for good reasons:
Don't leave the fur flying around in public areas where it might disturb others. Do it in your own garden. Genious idea I learned today: Stuff the fur into a fence or bird feeder. The hairs won't fly to your neighbour and the birds can pull them out if they want to.
