Hi there. I think the new Firelight Ekko skin looks really nice. Here's the spotlight:

Great visual effects. However there are no new sound effects on his basic attacks or abilities. All 1350 RP skins currently have new SFX except for, I think, Full Metal Jayce. But that's a really old skin, made when Riot was still figuring out what they wanted 1350 RP skins to be. And at least that skin has a voice filter, which this skin does not.
Based on our current guidelines and precedents on skin prices, this skin should have new SFX added (which I think Ekko mains would appreciate). Or it should simply be a 975 RP skin.
People complained that the 2017 SKT skins (of which Ekko was also a part of!) were not worth 1350 RP because they didn't have sound effects, and in response Riot added new sound effects to all of them! So this is something that can be done. It should be done.
I know missing SFX on one skin might not seem like a big deal for you. But this is coming in the midst of a community realization that Riot is trying to see how much value they can pull out of their systems and still charge us full price for.
Our new battle pass sucks. Our new prestige point shop sucks. I do not think it is an acceptable precedent for Riot to set to charge "full price" (i.e. 1350 RP) for a skin that does not have full value. If our 1350 RP skins do not get new SFX any more, then they are also going to suck.
This skin would have been 975 RP if released a few years ago. It should either be upgraded to be a 1350 RP skin or it should be 975 RP now. Thank you for reading.
edit: To really see the difference in what you are losing with this skin, look at Ekko's other skins for reference as to how we are being over-charged here:
- Academy = new model but NO new VFX and NO new SFX; 750RP
- Sandstorm = new model, new VFX, and new SFX on recall and every ability; 975 RP
- Firelight = new model, new VFX, but NO new SFX except on recall; 1350 RP
It just doesn't make sense.
First things first, this is not an Ekko post. I think at this point it is pretty obvious Ekko is the leader of the Firelights, so I'm not even going to get into that, if you have questions about that theory I can reply in the comments.

That's right, Sky, Viktor and Jayce's assistant, is a member of the Firelights.
Let's look at the evidence for this theory:
First, starting with the obvious, both people have very similar features. The hair and the skin color are basically a perfect match, and from what we can tell the physical stature is as well.
Second, we know from flashbacks that Sky knows Viktor from their childhoods, meaning Sky is from Zaun, not Piltover, which would give her a great reason to join the Firelights and be associated with Ekko. Here is some quick evidence of that:

Third, in the final fight between the firelights and Vi, Jinx, and Cait, this member is the one that recovers the Hextech Gemstone and then immediately leaves. If this member is Sky, then she would know exactly what it is and what it is capable of, and possibly also know who Caitlyn is. That would explain why this member captured Cait immediately unlike the other member of the firelights who was about to kill Vi before being stopped by their leader.
Anyway that is my theory. Makes me wonder if Sky will side with Viktor, seeing as how she is from Zaun and is willing to fight to protect it. It also makes me wonder if this gemstone will make its way to Ekko or if she will return it to Viktor and Jayce.
Super excited for Act 3 to see if this is right or not and how it plays out. What do you guys think of the theory?
It just makes sense, it better fits the "scrap " theme too, and it just looks nicer overall. Plus would probably make people want to buy the skin in league more. Would be really nice to see alongside the release of Silco
Well the title is pretty self explanatory. It would be the coolest thing to do with this skin, Ekko is only seen under his mask for a good part of the series, including the credits : it's an important part of his character. And since the model is already there (in his recall) and champions like Kai'Sa, Pyke and Aatrox already have a toggle in their base skin, would it be that hard to make ? If you also think this is an addition worth looking into, upvote this message : maybe Riot can take a closer look at it.
- No mask, or mask toggle
- No custom SFX, still priced at 1350
- Underwhelming chromas (true damage 2.0)
- No actual fire lights in skin
- No home guards. This is a 975 rp skin being overpriced to try to squeeze the arcane hype

I noticed a repeated visual metaphor in the intro to Episode 7 and the Enemy music video. Both have a firelight crawling out of a person/mask.
In this case the firelight crawls out of Bolt's mask (the pink haired girl Jinx kills).
In the music video we see a rather random shot of a firelight crawling out of Powder's mouth.
It is then followed up by a quick cut of Jinx.
It almost seems like in both cases the firelight is climbing out of someone who is dead (Powder metaphorically so). This got me thinking maybe in the undercity the firelights have a more spiritual significance, with the firelight representing the person's soul leaving the body and the idea of lost loved ones still being near by. Perhaps that's why Ekko named his gang the Firelights, in remembrance of the people and community that was lost.
This would also make Jinx's attack on the bridge even more symbolically charged, as she transformed the firelights, a symbol of love and family, into a tool of destruction.
I’m a bit confused on the firelights motives and why ekko kidnapped vi and caitlyn but not jinx.
(Sry my eng) I mean, that look with the hood and mask its so cool, and riot gave us an ekko without the mask (at least by default) and without hood, the skin it´s going to cost 1350 RP but it doesn´t change his SFX, what´s that? ALL epic skins 1350RP from 5 years ago change their SFX...man, arcane ekko has too much potential to be a legendary skin or a so good epic skin at least, but they gave us this, i tested the skin in PBE and idk, maybe it´s SFX fault but i felt like im playing with standar ekko...i don´t feel its a skin, only the hair looks so cool in the 3d model, ye, if u Zoom the camera he looks cool, but when you are playing...oh god i didn´t felt i was playing a skin, i rly hope this Pre-release will be improved
Does anyone know when are we getting the improved firelight skin? i've been waiting like a month with my RP ready and we get no signals of the skin coming :(
Did anyone else encounter a blackscreen after they finished chasing firelight and pressed on the log he was hoovering over? Any solutions? I also tried AR mode, camera was working fine but the log didn't show up.
