A list of puns related to "Scrim"
His contract as a pro-player has already ended, but his contract as a creator/streamer was sold to a multi-channel network without any notice beforehand.
Even though Uzi still wanted to play, he could not attend any try-outs, since his contract as a creator is still valid, any try-outs would lead to violating his contract. According to himself, the contract should end around November and December this year.
Uzi in his stream: " No matter I can play or not next year, I want to scrim. I can still play."

Some wholesome and interesting interaction. Before final, you can't scrim against your opponent, and other lpl teams had left Iceland already, and there was a whole week before the game. So EDG scrimed with G2 and MCD, turns out, G2 and LEC always find a way to help LPL to secure world champ lol.
In T1 Coach Moment twitch streaming, he mentioned something interesting about the scrims in Iceland.
"Doinb was playing so well in scrim. did not know why FPX 's performance was so different in the group stage. "
"Among the overseas teams, the best scrim team was EDG. Flandre Viper Jiejie perform well in scrims"
He did not think EDG will lose as easily as people think, but he think Damwon(DK) will still win. (He also hopes DK will win because DK has won in the game against T1. )
"Gumayusi and Teddy are best players in playing Aphelios. "
"Gumayusi also perform well with other ad champions, could win with any one of them in scrims"
"Keria helps a lot in preparing Ban-Pick. "
"Faker is strong with Leblanc but he did not play it because of team reason. may pick Leblanc in the opening game of LCK if I am still here. "
"will feel regreted if we did not try Yasuo. "

I thought this is quite interesting, so I share it here. But I am not a Korean. The translation might not be 100% accurate. You may check the above link. ]
[Edit 1 : u/azkiiir mentioned a few points that I have missed on comment, and I quoted it here. Thank you so much for the information.
Few points that were missed that I think are worth pointing out:
Munchables posted this translation by Jest213 of EDG Aaronβs stream:

I think some interesting take aways here are the confirmation that DK, T1, and EDG were indeed the top 3 teams that performed well in scrims and likely the strongest at the tournament.
Despite that, EDG seemed pretty confident that they could beat DK and GenG more decisively than occurred on stage based on scrims. This is even moreso true for Gen G as they thought they could 3-0 GenG which really puts into perspective how good Gen Gβs stage performance ended up this worlds.
Another interesting takeaway is their fear of RNG given RNGβs unique style and believing that perhaps RNG couldβve even taken down some of the other teams and faced them in Semis/Finals
I think this worlds actually ended up delivering us with the strongest teams for Semiβs/finals. I do think it wouldβve been nice to see GenG vs RNG as it seems they are both semi finals worthy, or see either face DK/T1.
It definitely seems that the strength of the top 5 teams were very close this tournament with roughly the ranking of
I also wouldβve liked to see LNG or FPX in Bo5 because LPL teams really suck at Bo1 and it would be interesting to see if their form would improve for Bo5.
Itβs a shame we didnβt see 100T or TL out of groups given how difficult 100Tβs group looked after we know the top 2 strength and given TL rumored to have good scrim performance this year. Also a shame that FNC had their roster blow up pretty much. Wouldβve been nice to see them face MAD or LNG or HLE or anyone else just short of top 5.
If theyβre not gonna do anything drastic like Bo3 groups or double elim next year, I do wish they would make it so 3rd seeds of groups could get out and play against 2nd seeds. Right now being first seed it good but there are also some very powerful second seeds historically that are extremely dangerous to face (IG 2018, G2 2019/20, EDG 21). Would be nice if the Seed 1βs got a chance to watch the 2nd seeds play against 3rd seeds of another group first. KT got assassinated by eventual winner IG while RNG got assassinated by eventual winner EDG. Another reason is so really weak 2nd seeds like C9 would have to play against 3rd of another group such as 100T or TL/LNG or PSG to see if they should move onto the quarters. This would help neutralize group difficulty disparity a bit. Hell, even MAD or HLE mightβve lost a B
... keep reading on reddit β‘Edit: Here is the ruleset we use for crossplay scrims. https://legendary-guanaco-f5c.notion.site/PC-Ruleset-dc6ff9a4f5204b57818ab18b1a74bd10
Edit: A lot of you have questions about why certain rules exist and I just want to say that I don't make the rules, but the people who do are always willing to listen to feedback.
This is a YouTubers discord, but scrims have been popping off lately due to crossplay. The ruleset is more relaxed here with only the more oppressive exotics being banned. We have been getting something like 40+ people every week which is awesome to see and plenty of them are from playstation and Xbox as well as PC. If you really want to improve at 3s, but don't like how toxic and restrictive faceit and its ruleset are then I feel like this would be the place for you. The environment is pretty relaxed and most people I've met have been super chill. There are players of all skill levels as well not just sweatlords. This link should hopefully be permanent as well. https://discord.gg/p3t4HrBSZg

TSM: Huni (Ornn) Bo (Taliyah) Keaiduo (Pantheon) Tactical (Lucian) Shenyi (NAMI)
FPX: Xiaolaohu (Gwen) Beichuan (Nidalee) Gori (Renekton) LWX (Jhin) Hang (Pyke)
TSM was on the red side and either lost or ended scrims early. They were about 4k down in gold.
I managed to catch the back end of a TSM scrim using opgg live view. The game has to be a scrim since it had 4/5 accounts known to be TSM players and the game isnt showing in any of their match histories on opgg (meaning it was a custom game). They used an unknown jungler (not hyper or xiaohuangren like vs FPX) and played vs a team that I have been unable to identify. I am linking the image to the end of game screen here.
Huni played really well on Jayce.
Hopefully someone can figure out who they were playing vs and who the jg is that they were using,
In last night's Bevvies with the Boys episode (btw great show from Munchables y'all should watch it), Grabbz took some time to talk about all this drama about Wunder scrims. Clips aren't working, so this is the link to the vod when he starts talking about it, for 5 minutes (1h47m-1h52m) https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1173967184?t=01h47m01s
It's just 5 minutes and he said several things so I really recommend that you watch, but if you can't, the main points i could catch were:
TLDW:
-Scrimming against offmeta picks sucks when u are under pressure (e.g. preparing for worlds finals).
-People exagerate how bad Wunder's summer split was only because his games 4 and 5 against FNC where shit (recency bias).
-Wunder is a trashtalker, but he was no doubt the best performer in scrims during the 4 years he was on G2, even if he doesn't play much soloqueue.
-Finally, if you are an org that can get Wunder and you don't, you are crazy and should delete yourself as an org.
Just tuned in for the scrims, but since nobody posted anything yet, here's the scrims results and some of the next scrims:

In his interview to Travis Rekkles mentioned Damwon Gaming and it is one of the most accurate prediction we have seen in the history of this game. Full video, moment with Damwon is at 5:40:
> Scrims are quite hard to find, but we have couple of Korean teams which arenβt playing at Worlds. We have β¦ especially Damwon Gaming, I am not sure people know about them, but they recently qualified to LCK for the next year, and they are pretty damn good. I would say it is kind of team you want at Worlds, but maybe at the next year, so we scrim with them a lot.

Looks like EDG are scrimming a mish-mash team consisting of Zven, Wunder, Mikyx, and 2 VIT players?
Pretty interesting since people were speculating whether any LPL/LCK teams stayed behind to scrim EDG or Damwon. Looks like that didn't happen.
Just starting to take Comp seriously and are wanting endgame practice, and since arena is basically pubs, we are wanting to do scrims. Any recommendations on discords or other ways to play scrims where we donβt have to wait around half an hour all the time for new codes?
