I'm Sietse Bakker and I'm the Executive Producer Event at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 and responsible for all creative and event programming.

I have been working for the European Broadcasting Union since 2006, including as event supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2019 I was appointed as Executive Producer Event of the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest, which would take place in the Netherlands but was, like many other events, cancelled due to the pandemic, for the first time in its 64-year history. After the cancellation we immediately decided to do all we could to host the Eurovision Song Contest in 2021.

And we're back, hosting the biggest and most complex TV show the Netherlands ever had. Looking forward to answer all your questions about it.

This is a list for Eurovision participants and hosts who were celebrities for national and international fame and famous in general, before and after Eurovision!

Udo Jurgens (Austria 1966) - Known for classic german songs.

Julio Iglesias (Spain 1970) - Known for one of the famous Spanish singers and the father of Enrique Iglesias.

Olivia Newton-John (United Kingdom 1974) - Known for the song ''Hopelessly Devoted to You'' and collabrated with John Travolta, and is known for one of the famous actresses in ''Grease'' movie.

ABBA (Sweden 1974) - Won Eurovision 1974, known for their famous hits ''Dancing Queen'' and ''Mamma Mia''.

Ajda Pekkan (Turkey 1980) - Known for Turkey's megastar with her hit classic songs.

Anna Vissi (Greece 1980 & 2006, Cyprus 1982) - Known for her hit song ''Eleni'' and a megastar from Greece.

Celine Dion (Switzerland 1988) - Won Eurovision 1988, known for her hit song from Titanic ''My Heart Will Go On.''

Philip Kirkorov (Russia 1995) - Known for Russia's megastar and writer of Eurovision songs.

Alla Pugacheva (Russia 1997) - Known for her hit song ''Million Roses''.

T.a.t.u. (Russia 2003) - Known for their hit song ''All The Things She Said''.

Sertab Erener (Turkey 2003) - Won Eurovision 2003, known for her hit songs in Turkey.

Meltem Cumbul (One of the hosts in Eurovision 2004) - Known for Turkey's famous actress.

Helena Paparizou (Greece 2005) - Known for Greece's famous singer.

Dima Bilan (Russia 2006 & 2008) - Known for one of the famous Russian popstars.

Kenan Doğulu (Turkey 2007) - Known for one of Turkey's famous popstar.

DJ BoBo (Switzerland 2007) - Known for his worldwide dance hits for the 90s.

SEREBRO (Russia 2007) - Known for their hit songs ''Mama Luba'' and ''Mi Mi Mi''.

I've noticed that all 41 postcards including postcard mashups from Eurovision 2019 weren't deleted on Youtube but were unexpectedly blocked. Whenever I've watching these beautiful postcards, i've recieving this error: ''Video Unavailable, the uploader has not made this video available in your country.'' happened 2 years later. This is not exactly what it's used to be. I've no idea of that those amazing postcards were blocked on purpose for no reason, It's all KAN's fault to do that on Youtube! 2 years ago, KAN uploaded these amazing postcards publicly, almost their every video on Youtube. If you have a Youtube account, you have to contact that channel for unblocking these amazing postcards, including Eurovision content what it's like used to be.

Yes, it's kind of a slow-news Eurovision period & I'm bored as fuck. I'm saying it, so you don't have to...

I remember the posts & comments here on this sub about everyone's ideal top-39 for this year's Eurovision Song Contest, so I've decided to be completely unoriginal & do a contest on this sub, to see what the general opinion here is. 15 songs were selected through National Finals, or in Bulgaria's case, through (among other things) fan-driven feedback & I want to see how many of these 15 songs (if any) would make it to OUR Eurovision Song Contest.

Before that, a few notes (and questions, because I'd like your help):

1. The 15 countries that are for sure involved are: Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Spain & Sweden
2. Ukraine's "Shum" was selected internally, but we do know the other 2 songs that were considered & we do have "Rano" fully released. Sadly, "Tserkovka" has only had a snippet released, so I don't know if I should include Ukraine into the National Final season, or just advance "Shum" straight to Eurovision. What do you guys think??
3. Should I include Belarus to this whole ordeal?? I mean, we do have National Final songs, so should I bother with them, or not??
4. Azerbaijan also had "contender songs" (in the same way as Ukraine & Bulgaria), but "Mata Hari" was selected internally. Do we know if those other 5 songs were released to the public or not?? Should I include Azerbaijan into the NF season, or just proceed with "Mata Hari"??
5. I'll do Spain on this first part, but as it's only 2 songs & I couldn't use Scorewiz for it, PLEASE give me your choice for the Spanish song in the comments!!

I will start with 5 National Finals in each of the 3 parts of the National Final season. The winning song will, obviously, proceed to the "Ideal Reddit Eurovision Song Contest", the runner-up (and in countries with at least 8 NF entrants, the 3rd-place song) will proceed to the "Reddit Second Chance Contest".
