Repotted my echeveria pulidonis + its props! Super happy with how it came out (I can't center a plant in a pot for the life of me XD). Does this species do better outdoors than indoors? Since I kept it indoors before the repot, they didn't etiolate, but grew stalks.

Can tillandsia etiolate?
I've seen conflicting claims on whether tillandsia can etiolate. It seems like generally they grow so slowly and have unique enough structures that it's hard to detect, but does anyone know if it's possible?

Some of my stems between leaves seem to have a longer length than others . Wondering if this is normal or if more light will cause the leaves to grow closer together ?

What are good plants for a shelf that donβt etiolate?
Hello r/plants!
I bought a shelf for my room, but noticed that the plants that I put on it tend to grow towards the window (which it is right next to). This isnβt ideal as it makes the plants feel unbalanced to me.
The ones that I have that donβt seem to noticeably do this are the sansevieria, pothos (satin and nβjoy) and curled leaf spider plant.
I plan to move the other plants (tradescantia, begonia maculata and various succulents) somewhere sunnier, but that leaves me with empty shelves to fill!
What plants would you suggest for a shelf with directional light? All suggestions appreciated!
