A list of puns related to "Effigiation"
With the changes to Font of Might and the new Elementsl Time Dilation mod you can basically achieve an almost constant uptime of an additional 25% damage with your Void Weapons.
Couple that with Nezeracs Sin and Bottom Tree Warlock. And you're extremely hard to kill as long as an ad is nearby.
For Heavy Weapon I recommend Threaded Needle with Frenzy/Rapid Hit/Field Prep. Or Royal Entry with Lasting Impression Field Prep/Impulse Amplifier/Autoloading Holster. Build is very friendly to run double special weapons. Could run whatever special you want. Maybe a GL with Blinding Nades (Ignition Code with slideshot and Danger Zone) for higher end content or a Succession (Reconstrucrion and Vorpal Weapon) if you need to pick apart a target from long distance.
If it is to be assumed, that the ornaments for the Menagerie weapons are depicting their original appearances before being modified by Calus, as described by their descriptions. βAn earth artefact refashion to fit the emperorβs tastesβ or something like that.
And if Austringer is basically just Eyasluna, then it can be assumed that Eyasluna as it appears in D1 and D2 is also a modification on the earth artefact used to make Austringer (as seen in the βBroken Bird, to be healed ornament).
And seeing as Eyasluna is just baby Hawkmoon, it can be assumed that Hawkmoon is also a version of the aforementioned Earth artefact.
Should this be somewhat plausible, then I would argue it explains the Hawkmoonβs inclusion in season of the hunt and relation to Uldren, instead of creating a new exotic or bringing back another.
The theme of taking something old and breathing new life into it is brought up repeatedly in Season of the Hunt. βWe turned something dead and gone into something beautifulβ from Harbinger. The old ship Spider asked Crow to junk becoming the Radiant Accipiter.
βI heard before the Collapse, there used to be an art. It took broken things and put them back together with precious metalsβ this likely refers to Kintsugi, a Japanese method for repairing broken ceramics with a special lacquer mixed with gold, silver, or platinum. The philosophy behind the technique is to recognize the history of the object and to visibly incorporate the repair into the new piece instead of disguising it.
The concept may seem familiar as it appears to be the design basis behind the Precious Scars helmet, the Speakerβs mask in Zavalaβs office has had itβs cracks filled in with gold and if the assumption on Hawkmoon being the earth artefact demonstrated in Austringerβs ornament is true, then Hawkmoon as it originally was in D1 was an old gun remade with better materials to serve as a weapon of the light.
In D2 it can be assumed that the original Hawkmoon is long gone, yet the traveler chose to make an effigy of it, perhaps because the story of the original Hawkmoon directly parallels both Crow and guardians as a whole. Instead of just creating a new species for the purpose of war against the darkness, instead of making the ghosts do the fighting, the traveler created the ghosts and had them find dead beings who could be imbued with the light and become something greater.
The darkness seems to stand for survival of the fittest however the light stands for protecti
... keep reading on reddit β‘Or is it part of her stipend from Parliament? As a Yank it doesn't matter to me, I kinda like her...during WWII she wanted to be a car mechanic and hated that her education consisted of becoming a Queen.
I need a lot. Iβve had half hp this entire game. This is probably my only complaint about Ds2
Sincerely a disappointed scaper that spent 2-3 months grinding out the requirements only to be stuck behind a 6 month time gate.
See you all in February.
