The Dyck jokes are the perfect example of a joke that stops being funny really quick because it gets so repetitive but then becomes hilarious again after wayyyy more repetition.
Sometimes that type of joke comes up in conversation and I can't think of an example. Never again, once.
Also I love J-Roc's face when he plays Noah Dyck. He looks like Will Ferrell in Elf or something. Just a big wide-eyed doofy grin, once 8D

This clean up dive was performed well before the Abbotsford flood. I don't think low water is going to be an issue now.

Interview between Penny Queen & Abe Dyck, Aduroβs VP of Strategy & Business Development
Q: Thank you for taking the time today to go over this morningβs news release. It has a lot of information in it, and Iβd love to get a little more insight into what this could mean for Aduro. Can you sum up this news release?
A: The gist of it is that we are developing a partnership with Brightlands, to develop and scale up our hydrochemolytic technology to be used for chemical recycling of plastics. We will do this by joining their Chemelot Circular Hub at the Chemelot Campus.
Q: Do you have any idea of the timeframe?
A: Ofer, our CEO, will be visiting Brightlands in December to progress the partnership agreement and to work out the details regarding project scope, duration, expected and outcomes. This includes details regarding, feedstock sourcing, local engineering, partnership engagements and grant opportunities. We envision a 3-year program starting with polyethylene and progressing to the other plastics types.
Q: What does the incubator get out of this?
A: Access to a novel new technology. Hydrochemolytic - The Chemelot Circular Hub is meant to bring together a broad alliance of parties involved with the Chemelot chemistry and materials cluster working on building a world with zero waste, one where used products and materials are processed to create new raw materials for new products. These products must be clean, safe and remain competitive for the long term.
They will host the pilot facility, providing the physical location for R2 and R3. they will provide utilities, supply chains, vendors, and funding partners.
Q: Can you refresh everyoneβs memory on the R2 and R3 nomenclature, what does this mean regarding plastics?
A: Our R2 reactor refers to a kg/hr scale. Whereas the R3 is currently targeted at the 10 ton/day scale.
Q: So there are 7 primary types of plastic, I noticed that several types of plastics were discussed near the end of the PR, can you add some color to that?
A: We already know that we can use the hydrochemolytic process on polyethylenes and have done the chemistry work up on polypropylene & polystyrene plastics. These fit into Plastics Types 1,2,4,5,6 initial work at Brightlands will focus on polyethylene and then progress to the other groups.
