A list of puns related to "Dormant"

I'm not quite sure if this falls in the rules of the subreddit or if this is the right flair so mods please remove this if that is the case, but I do think it was relevant enough for a discussion.
i saw someone on one of these subs say this and I think this is the most concise way to describe the air around them right now.
aespa is not being talked about much now, they only have 2 songs and not much content, but once they start dropping teasers for their next comeback, theyll go back to being highly discussed.
i think a lot of people are being waaay too reactionary and are completely lowballing aespa's position.Β part of this is because of the huge amount of expectations fans had of them predebut but also largely stems from comparing them to other 4th gen ggs. mostly:
itzy, a recent big 3 gg with a record breaking hit debut that outdid even their company seniors that year
and stayc, the small company gg that's "outpacing" them in korea and has far more promotional material than them.
so here are my too long, semi-organized thoughts and predictions(?) about all this:
i get why fans would be worried about sm's method of promoting aespa and the gap between comebacks since they're rookies. but keep in mind this method also builds a lot a of hype. aespa arent nugus, they're the newest sm girl group you dont have to worry about people forgetting them. you can still dislike this promotional tactic though.
they didnt debut with a domestic chart like itzy but the digital landscape is much different than when itzy debuted. they still managed to chart and had great longevity, so obviously have the general public's attention. now they just need to build on it.
even if their debut wasnt a domestic hit, it was still record breaking internationally, they have huge spotify and youtube numbers as well just a lot and engagement and that shouldnt be ignored.
and it's only a matter of time before they get their hit song if we're being realistic. not every big 3 rookie needs to debut with a national hit, success can be a gradual build.
also if you look at aespas melon numbers (streams and uls) they're really not that far behind itzy and idle, despite what the relatively lower charting would have you think. keep in mind it's a only debut.
they're basically set to be a physical powerhouse with how popular they are in china. check out karinas bday project its nuts how much pull she has as a rookie.
also they're returning to a lot of displaced izone fans.
stayc is doing amazingly but its naive to think aespa probably wont end up breaking a lot of their records when they comeback. they have like 4x as much causal interest as well a
###Abbreviation Index:
BB -- Blackberry
AWS -- Amazon Web Services
IVY -- Intelligent Vehicles Yo. I don't actually know if this stands for anything
QNX -- Quick-Unix perhaps? It's a Unix-like embedded microkernel RTOS (real-time operating system)
EOY -- end of year
PT -- price target
SP -- stock price
EV -- electric vehicle
SoC -- System on a Chip
IoT -- Internet of Things
TL;DR: Blackberry ($BB) is almost daily announcing new partnerships and new clients for their software, including new deals with companies that are just now or just this year launching autonomous vehicles that run on QNX software. The big kahuna of all these deals is BB's recent partnership with Amazon to go 50/50 into BB's software IVY, a scalable cloud-connected software platform designed for intelligent vehicle data gathering and data sharing. With Amazon's Jeff Bezos stepping down, and Andy Jassy filling his shoes, who was the CEO of AWS, BB will have some very firm support behind Amazon's new CEO. BB and Amazon are having a webinar Feb. 23rd about their partnership and IVY, which should be a strong catalyst moving forward. IVY beta earnings are projected to begin impacting BB's Q3 or Q4 earnings beginning in November this year, with IVY fully being integrated around the 2023 timeframe. Through a lot of reading and analysis, I believe BB has a four-tiered business model dating back as far as 2013 when BB's CEO John Chen was hired to begin the massive BB turnaround process. Tier 1 was development of QNX and IVY, lasting from 2013 to today and onward, however, Tier 2 overlaps Tier 1. Tier 2 was customer acquisition, primarily distributing their secure software in QNX, SecuSuite, Spark, and AtHoc. They secured 37 automakers during this time, including 9 of the top 10 automakers, over 106 governments from around the world, including all of G7 governments and 18 of G20 governments, as well as 77% of Fortune 100 companies, including partnerships with Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Sony, XPENG, XPEV, NVIDIA, Intel, Qualcomm, Baidu, IBM, LG, Samsung, and others. Well if they have such an incredible market share, why are they so undervalued? The answer is that QNX was not the end-all-be-all product. It was the base that the rest would be built on. Particularly IVY, which is the real money-maker. Tier 3 is IVY beta, and Tier 4 is IVY distribution and subscription revenue streams. So why is IVY the big deal and not QNX? They

Gonzaga scrapped its football program in 1942 due to World War II and never rebooted it despite occasional discussions to do so.
Prior to scrapping it, Gonzaga was a competent independent in the Pacific Northwest with a record of 129-99-20 through its life, including 67-63-11 as a considered "major" program
Gonzaga is known as the college for pro football HOF RB Tony Canadeo, who played for the Packers in the 40's and early 50's, as well as the college for pro football HOF E Ray Flaherty, who was inducted as a coach but was the NFL leader in receiving in 1932.
You may also notice that one of the former Gonzaga players in the NFL has a familiar last name. Hust Stockton is John's grandfather and played three back positions (FB, HB, and TB) through his career.
Gonzaga did bowl once - the 1922 East-West Christmas Classic in San Diego (a bowl I could support) - losing 21-13 to the undefeated West Virginia team that would claim a natty that season. Gonzaga had a valiant 4th quarter attempt at a comeback but was unable to close a 21-0 deficit. Their coach during their "glory" years in the early 1920's was Gus Dorais, who played at Notre Dame and was an assistant under Knute Rockne for a year before jumping to a head gig. Dorais went 21-13-3 at Gonzaga before moving back to the Midwest in 1925. Maurice "Clipper" Smith lead the Zags for four additional years (another Rockne player) before going to Santa Clara, putting up a 23-9-5 record. The 1920's were arguably Gonzaga's pinnacle as a West Coast football program that had some teeth to it.
Not surprisingly, Gonzaga's most frequent opponents were its neighbor schools - Idaho, Washington State, and Montana.
Hi, Years ago I met my tulpa for the first time. I was walking from the bus station to the mall and suddenly I heard a voice clear as day in my head tell me "you need to eat Zoey"... I responded not even thinking about it "yeah, ill go get food". for some reason I didn't question it. I knew it didn't feel like me talking to myself, but like talking to someone else through thoughts. I kept talking to the voice every day when it showed up and eventually I found out her name was Karly. She said she came to help me. She became basically a caretaker. She started out by talking to me when I was REALLY stressed and would make my left arm twitch when she wanted to start a conversation but I wasn't stressed, talking to me when I finally said hi. eventually, she became so strong I could feel her fully next to me, I could talk to her at any time, and we even experimented with switching (which never got anywhere sadly)
I didn't question it at first but hearing voices kinda freaked me out. At first, I didn't tell anyone, but when she kept coming so frequently and popping up randomly that I couldn't handle it anymore, and told a friend of mine who has DID thinking they would be a good resource. after a long conversation We decided that Karly was most likely a DID alter. We bonded over it for a year. I learned all about their system and we discussed mine/my kinda lack of system. Besides Karly, I had others show up but they never felt the same and always disappeared quickly which my friend thought was odd. they felt more like figments than tulpas even to this day. my friend called them fragments. Eventually, my friend suggested I talk to a psychiatrist about getting officially tested for DID. Once I was tested, the results were inconclusive. The psychiatrist didn't rule it out, but they also didn't confirm it, so I dropped talking to her about it. I told my friend right away and again they thought it was odd. Seeing how different my situation was from their DID, they questioned I had DDOS... turned out that didn't fit, and eventually due to the fact Karly didn't match with a DID system, and that I didn't have trama like them, they claimed I was a faker and we instantly were no longer friends.
The hurt of no longer being friends and being called a faker caused me to avoid talking to Karly. She would pipe up and ask questions and Id tell her she was fake. a figment. I can tell now she became very sad. she tried to convince me she was a friend and wanted to help but I assu

> Dear Valued CalPERS Member,
> Transparency and openness are cornerstones of CalPERSβ commitment to members. In that spirit, I am writing to share that we filed a lawsuit last Friday to protect member assets.
> We discovered that a 25-year employee had illegally accessed 10 dormant retiree accounts and fraudulently directed approximately $685,000 to bank accounts in the employeeβs control. We have notified the 10 affected members and will make their accounts whole, and, as a part of the investigative process, we are performing a forensic audit. Dormant accounts, which comprise a small fraction of all member accounts, are where benefit payments have been returned as undeliverable. CalPERS repeatedly attempts to locate these members or their beneficiaries. These accounts have been locked and a new policy was immediately implemented, requiring three levels of security.
> The lawsuit seeks to recover the stolen funds, and we are continuing to work with law enforcement on potential prosecution of alleged criminal behavior. CalPERS will exhaust every legal opportunity to recover the money stolen from the victims. You can access the legal filing here.
> Our 2,800 professionals take pride in serving you with the highest degrees of professionalism, integrity, and accountability. That this could have happened in the first place is unacceptable, and the employee is no longer employed by CalPERS. The employeeβs actions were an abuse of access, breach of fiduciary responsibility, and betrayal of co-workers and all dedicated public employees. We are extremely disappointed, because we take our commitment to member security so seriously.
> We are fully committed to the safety and protection of your retirement assets. If you have any questions, please contact us at 888 CalPERS (888-225-7377).
> Thank you for being a CalPERS member and for your commitment to public service.

According to the court filing, the employee is Gloria Najera.
My wife and I are both 31 and have been together for 11 years. My wife is the only once Iβve been sexually active with. My wife had a few sexual partners before we met.
She has Pap smears almost yearly and has never had anything found on it. This past week she was told the test showed HPV.
I just donβt understand how she has it. She said sheβs never cheated on me. If thatβs the case, then HPV has been dormant for over 11 years? If this is true, does the fact that itβs long term HPV raise serious health concerns for her? Or for me since Iβve had unprotected sex with her? Should I be doing anything?
She has a follow up for her doctor in a couple weeks to examine the cells more closely, whatever that means.
Hi all, just wondering can COVID viruses stay dormant in your body even after you have recovered from it? I know cold sores & chickenpox can stay in the body for long periods of time without being activated, and I was wondering since all of these are all categorized as a viral infection, could this apply to COVID as well? Thanks in advance guys, genuinely curious about this.

I have a $50 account, but let's be honest, the service is beta at best. I've been paying for both xfinity and T-mo ISP for a little over a month now, and I just got an email that Xfinity upgraded my dl speed from 25 to 50 Mbps ($20/mo plan).
Anyone know if it's possible to stop/pause service as if I was leaving the country or something, so I can re-activate again (still at $50) when it's not beta-quality?
