Start enumerating the documents from the very first one you send, even if you don’t have reason to think it will be reviewed in the future. This will ensure a consistent way of knowing which version is the most up to date.
Do this even with non important documents, it can only help.
Use numbers to describe the versions, not words. “latest” does not provide any information since it’s only the “latest” until next version arrives “latest-latest”, followed by “latest-latest-b”
“latest” is only acceptable if it’s actually a link to the actual latest version, which is properly enumerated.
When using numbers, allocate enough digits to reasonably keep all reviews, for instance start with “my_doc_000” instead of “my_doc_0”. This is because when you move to number 10, if files are organized alphabetically, all versions will be mixed up if one version has more digits than other.
Because there have been a lot of "Hey have you seen Netflix Corporation's awesome and bold Cowboy Bebop? I haven't/have seen the anime, but this thing is just so cool. Give it a chance!" lately.

I'm wondering how nations communicated in the past. Particullary in the middle ages and early middle period. They would have send messengers on horseback to a receiving nation but where did those messengers go to? Did nations in the past have a departement where they could deliver their message? What did countries in the past communicate about; except for declarations of war, alliances or eranged marriages?
I should know and understand what these are better considering how far I am into this year already already having learnt QAM and everything, but I still find what they are confusing.
