Edit: since u/Rich_Troy was so eloquent with his visual pick, here it is for your viewing pleasure.

I am at R128, A2 I think. The Deflagration A25 research says 2% while Not a Wiki says 1000% effect increase. I donβt know if it changed after ascension. Is there any point in taking this at 2%?
Other things like equality also changed to 0% after ascension. Is this right?
Quick question regarding Deflagrate, and I'm sorry if the answer is clearly written somewhere.
If a Deflagrate weapon causes instant death to a multi wound model (say the S6 one that the tech priest dominus carries), does that count as a single wound for purposes of the deflagrate bonus, or does it count all removed wounds, even if they're multiples in one shot via instant death?
ie:
2 Skitarii Infiltrators (2W models) are hit and ID'd by the Volkite blaster, the third passes his save.
Is this 2 deflagrate special hits to be resolved (for 2 wounding hits going unsaved), or do you count them as 4 (for 2x2 wounds lost due to ID)?
Thanks.
Volkite's deflagrate: "for every wound dealt, resolve an automatic hit at the same Strength and AP as the original hit. (these additional hits do not have deflagrate)"
Soulblaze: "50% chance to inflict d3 bolter hits that you probably forgot to roll for (doesn't stack)"
Both of these rules represent dudes violently erupting into flames except deflagrate is easier to remember, happens in the same phase as the attack causing it, and actually has a chance of doing something.
I figure replacing soulblaze with deflagrate (call it "Blaze") would be more fitting. Would need a points rebalance here and there.
So, does the Deflagrate rule from Volkite weaponry effect vehicles? If so, how are they affected? I can't seem to figure this out.
Im very confused between these four terms. I've been researching fire and how it works and I ended up with these ones. From what I understand
Combustion is the process of fire.
Deflagration is when fire travels slower than sound.
Detonation and explosion are the ones that confuse me and is an explosion a type of combustion?
I thought of this as aircraft like the mirage and the Mig-21, the J-35D or even the phantom can change the AoA (angle of attack) to almost 70Β°, so i don't know if the Air is still flowing on top of the wing
Edit: thanks for the responses! I'm trying to learn some aerodynamics and its good
