For those who don't know Jungkook posted a demo for the song Decalcomania on Twitter on his birthday in 2019. We all assumed it'll be one of the tracks for his mixtape.

So, yeah, we spend two years thinking the demo will have its final output in his mixtape. But during in their yesterday's zoom call meeting with 200 ARMYs. An ARMY asked him about it, he said that he already deleted the file, but he can remake it if he wants to. But still it makes me sad cause I really loved the demo and I waited 2years for that, to hear the whole song. I guess the song is no longer aligned with his artistic direction atm or the message of the song is no longer the same as how he feels rn. But still, it makes me sad thinking he already deleted that. Can't really help but to feel sad about it. Was really looking forward for that song. Sigh.

But whatever, I'm excited for what music direction he's going for in his mixtape.

i don't know if it's just me thinking that sadder = better, but i felt more emotion in the 30 second demo of decalcomania than i did in the 3 minutes of my time

i think decalcomania would've been a great transition for his solo career (showing his capabilities as a songwriter/composer), and although he did participate in writing my time, it was obvious that most of the work was done by western producers

granted, this is jungkook (and p much anything he'll release will do great), but my time didn't feel personal, even as a song reflecting on his youth

i could've totally imagine something like decalcomania alongside black swan and shadow,, and as someone who loves jungkook's voice, i just want something more with his solos

Because the products were intended for children who might have trouble pronouncing "decalcomania," they were marketed with a deliberate mispronunciation of the word—"Cockamamies." Since then, "cockamamie" has been used in English slang as a word for anything wacky, strange, unusual, or nonsensical.

This would seem a probable origin of "cockamamie," except that the use of the nonsense word appears as early as the 1940s—or even the 1920s—before the production of the King Features products. It's possible that another, unknown company produced temporary tattoos and decals under that name before, or that the term came from another source entirely, perhaps influenced by similar terms such as "cock-and-bull."

This is a hate crime, and nothing less. The vile, torturous, and downright sadistic tendencies of some of the groups, soloists, and idols I follow have finally made me reach my breaking point. Then he had the freaking gall to make us anticipate him releasing these officially after joining AOMG, only to say sike and drop POV: U instead (which is my AOTY but I’m still salty) with nothing from his SoundCloud on sight. I almost removed him from my ult biases. Almost.

And I’m not even going to start on my beef with Lim Jaebeom, he's basically a pro at doing this now and I don't deal with professional sadists... even my masochism has a limit. But Kunpimook Bhuwakul Bambam- I know you’re also traumatized by JYP rejecting Sunshine, but would it kill you to say “screw you” to him and release it yourself???

Okay, cool, no problem. I see how it is. And THEN I discovered the maelstrom that is Sambakja delivered by Monsta X’s ridiculous rapline. And guess what. IT’S NOT ON SPOTIFY AND HAS NO STUDIO VERSION AT ALL!!! Screw you Lee Jooheon and Im Changkyun. And Ongshimi not being on there is just straight up treason. Lee Minhyuk… you better run and hide. After that… do I even have to mention Jeon Jungkook scrapping all files for Decalcomania on a whim? Or Kim Taehyung having the audacity to put a mind-numbingly beautiful song on his Instagram story, only to say he won’t release anything he’s already shown to fans. Bangtan Sonyeondan… I’m watching you. Just you wait.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
