A list of puns related to "Cuirass"
I do not like it.
And game was won. The mission is to get titan's cuirass, which is located underground heavily guarded.
I was like- what?! All this time I been worried about underground, and these guys in the north could have gotten to it!
At first I thought maybe there are 2 places to get it. I tested with a new map and that utopia doesn't have it.

Zilong user here, how the heck do you counter antique cuirass if there's even any counter at all?
And I also wanna know what the best /optimal build there is for zilong if any of you high ranking guys know, the current build i use is:
War axe, BOD, Crit axe(i forgot the name), wind talker and last is a counter item for the enemy carry.
So I noticed a lot of hunters complaining about nighthawk being worse than cuirass when it comes to boss DPS. Imo I donβt think this is the case when it comes to boss DPS (notice I said boss DPS not champs/miniboss cause both basically almost one shot them anyways)
Reason? Because when a hunter nighthawks the boss in a well of radiance or out of a bubble, theyβre able to instantaneously swap to heavy and continue applying significant DPS. The titan on the other hand would have to waste time running back. Even if the titan used a weapon where crits arenβt required like 1K which is extremely popular this season, bear in mind the time spent running back to the well is time spent doing damage without that 25% damage buff. Additionally, backpedaling to hit more shots also means an increased amount of time spent traveling just to get to the well or bubble.
Thus, imo celestial isnβt really a direct downgrade to cuirass as a lot of people in this sub are making it out to be. However, this is just my opinion on the matter. Feel free to share what you think and if you disagree as well.
I had once heard, in a forum-ehm, a tradehouse now lost to time, a rumor about a powerful cuirass in the island of vvardenfell, so powerful that it did not belong to anyone and there were no hints about its existence.
The rumor stated that there were indeed hints. One hint is, of course, its presence in the book "Tamrielic lore", by Yahtum Bagarn, but as far as the reader knows it might be a legend. The other hint, however, was as vague as possible, to the point that, had you not heard the rumor and taken it to heart, you could walk by the place a hundred times and never check.
Somewhere close to Ebonheart, there is a beach with an odd appearance, like an old road. This road goes underwater and reaches a few rocks just off the coast. One of these rocks reveals the entrance to a grotto, where the armor lies. So the rumor goes. As precise and clear as the location of the golden kwama eggs!
It has got to be a joke, I thought, but having reached the peak of physical ability I decided to give it a try. Walking along the beach for a while was frustrating, until the road appeared; then my confidence shot up. I dove straight into the water, trying my hardest to follow the track, barely distinguishable in the murky waters. As soon as I reached a rock I'd look around, expecting an underwater door... But the road only went over the rocks and continued. As I grew frustrated, I decided to walk around the last rock and head back. It was then that I saw the door.
A special potion of water breathing I prepared for the occasion went down my throat, and I jumped in. The grotto did exist! Before the fish ate me alive, I hurried through the chambers and found a dwemer ruin, abandoned for millennia, waiting. The heavy doors still spread open despite the rust, and the water was darker than ever. I expected this, so I drank the night eye potion and hoped for the best.
My underwater exploration eventually took me to a tower, where some fellow's corpse lay, his final words laying near him... How cliche. As it turned out, this Peke Utchoo fellow had followed the same rumors and reached the dwemer ruin, where he found a key, which I pocketed. His misfortune could be my luck. I prayed to the Nine for him, and laughed reading his scrawls, while shedding a tear.
Eventually I found another chamber, where a still functioning centurion took me by surprise. The healing potion Peke couldn't drink reminded me to drink my own before barely defeating the machine. Having lost the night

TL;DR, Good, 8/10
First off, it is visually stunning. Looks amazing and intimidating and makea you feel stronger.
It's sturdy and reliable, makes you feel like an immortal. It does have a good bit of weight to it and is pretty big though, definitely gonna want to wear gambeson.
For the price, it is really good. The lower faulds do flex allowing you to bend over and sit down with relative ease, and the front plates are slightly articulated so you get a small bit of bonus flexion there. The back faulds do come out a lot and can be awkward at times.
The top straps are great, great material and easy to use. Side straps on the other hand, yeah they suck. They only allow for tightening enough to make the breastplate and backplate touch, which leaves a ton of wiggle room in the cuirass making it unstable and not form fitting. I recommend getting a belt to fasten the cuirass over the back plate (the way I put it on is by putting my back to the wall, pushing the breastplate as close as I want, then using a belt i tighten it all the way).
Mobility is decent, the armholes allow for enough mobility that you can do most things easily, and some things with a little difficulty (I'm able to put my arms out enough to do pullups, but do have to shimmy a tad bit).
When shipped, the backplate was too wide so I had to get some trailer straps to bend it in, but after doing so it's all good.
Overall, you may need to do some tweaking with it, but it looks and feels amazing for the price, and is in my opinion great for anybody starting out with plates like me.
Now that being said, it is a "one-size fits all" and comes with it's issues. If you want functional armor, mail and gambeson would honestly be much more forgiving while still holding up decently. If you want plate, get it fitted, or else you WILL run into issues. Images: https://imgur.com/a/k5SEht7

I'm reading mixed info about the Seed of Power quest that you supposedly need to give Daeyena the Cuirass armor from the Blackpits. Currently my progress for the quest is:
Can I now leave Act 2 and meet and defeat her in Act 4 (Arx) and get all of the missing parts of the set considering that I didn't give her the Cuirass in Act 2 ? I read that some people didn't meet her in Act 4 (Arx) after getting the Cuirass and not giving it to her.
EDIT: If someone in the future is reading this thread BE SURE to have the Cuirass Armor in the CHARACTER that is doing the TALKING with Daeyena or the dialogue choice for giving her the armor won't be there.
I'm just curious about its stats after the armor rework in the "City of Overpriced Repair and Corrosive Rainβ’" update becouse how heavy armor plays out changed quite a bit, and it was THE chestpiece to dream about. Nearly not obtainable with its β.5% drop rate from graves but it used to show form time to time on discord chats. But i havent seen it since the update. Is it even still in the game?
Because it seems you canβt oil one side of the plates on brigandine armor because one side is attached to the wool or whatever fabric you use for the brigandine and so one side of the plates is inaccessible for oiling.
I have noted in several historical illustrations that there are medieval Rus'/Russian warriors wearing Greco-Roman style muscle armour. This stood out to me because as far as I know it was abandoned in most of the world and even in the Byzantine Empire it was used only rarely for ceremonial purposes. Does anyone know more about this or maybe this is just some kind of joke by illustrators?
since the top tree nova bomb is underwhelming and hasnt seen big usage. other then with contraverse hold and with the nerf to skull of dire ahamkara a while back the usage dropped since then. my suggestion is a rework of skull in terms of getting extra damage with your nova bomb. so its on par with its counter parts cuirass of the fallen star or celestial nighthawk. it, of course should only work with top tree nova. it would spike the usage of top tree nova up and would give the nova bomb a usage in high tier content.
Hi there, just wondering if there was anything close to Chevalier Cuirass for non-paladins, specifically GNB/DRK and the ranged phys classes.
Also Chad Destiny Player: "This boss fight took 30 seconds wtf Bungie."
Ridiculous.
