I'm well aware of Alaska's Boroughs (and their Unorganized Boroughs, which are very strange in the scheme of the way that the United States is organized), but why is Cicely in the Borough of Arrowhead COUNTY? Is this just a play towards Americans that aren't aware of Alaska's municipal organization? Is seems so conspicuously erroneous and patronizing, if so. NX writers don't seem to dumb down the reality of living far from the lower 48, as the difference in lifestyle is pretty much the premise of the whole show. Why did they pick this to be patronizing? Or, if that's not the case, what was the reason for the County/Borough mashup so frequently mentioned?

From what I've read about Texas on Wikivoyage, Texarkana is closer to Chicago than El Paso and El Paso closer to LA than Beaumont.
Near me, there's Blackpool, but that's 41 miles away and, well, everything's closed for obvious reasons; some stuff sold there can be a bit naff, but it's still a classic British day at the seaside. Going the other way is Rhyl, nearly 60 miles away; not quite bordering, although it is technically another country of the UK being in Wales! Rhyl isn't quite as Blackpool-esque but still has that day at the seaside vibe... not gone as often as years ago, but I remember it being popular with bikers!
Near you.... where's the place in a bordering borough or county that HAS to be seen?
