A list of puns related to "Conflict Of Laws"
The other day I posted my current Spring schedule: Evidence, Secured Transactions, Criminal Procedure, Domestic Relations, and Appellate Advocacy. Several people suggested that the combination of Evidence, Secured Transactions, and Crim Pro could be overwhelming. I am thinking about dropping Secured Transactions and adding Conflict of Laws instead. Thoughts?
Does anyone have a link to a good reference guide that I could follow that pertains to Conflicts of Law? My school does not offer the class and i am currently working on something that deals with it and it would be nice to have a jumping off point to understand it.
For Faraday's law, imagine a loop enclosing a changing magnetic field (orthogonal to the plane of the loop), but larger than the area where the field exists. The integral form predicts that an E field is induced at the loop since dBflux/dt is nonzero, but the differential form predicts that no E field is induced there since dB/dt=0 there.
Similarly, imagine a long straight current carrying wire. For a loop enclosing this wire's cross section, the integral form of Amperes law predicts a B field will be produced there since the enclosed current is nonzero and dEflux/dt=0. However, the differential form predicts B=0 outside of the wire since the current density is 0 outside of the wire and the E field is constant.
What am I missing here?
Does anyone have a good Conflict of Law Attack Outline? I cannot for the life of me understand how to structure my arguments.
Thanks in advance!
Yes I know its from the Daily Mail. However the effects described in the article would seem to me to violate some of the principles of the treaty. Namely the prohibition of laser weapons that blind people and incendiary devices.
There any barracks lawyers out there with an opinion?
I understand when Eerie would come up but when would conflict-of-law come up? Apparently there's a substantive law vs. procedural law component to it too, but Themis says the conflict-of-law analysis is different from the Eerie analysis. Can you anyone differentiate the two for me please?
I have heard a lot of people saying who they are tired of the Law and Chaos conflict, and I actually understant from where they are coming, seeing the "same" plot repeated all the time...or so they said.
But I argue the opposite, there no always a classic Law and Chaos conflict all the time, in fact, the only games that seems to repeat the formula without anything new are I, II (the first games), the first Devil Survivor and IV.
Honestly, SMT IV seems to be the game that the critics of the Law and Chaos conflict use to exemplify their claims, but I honestly dont see much issue with it, IV biggest issue is who it reuse the old ideas of SMT I and II, a bit too much...Nah, it reuses a lot.
But honestly, that is not much. Is more a IV issue, than a issue with the conflict itself.
SJ is the recent mainline games who used the conflict in a different, by putting it in a whole different setting and adding new reps (albeit, only Law actually do, because despite the Mothers being important in theory, is Lucifer the one who serves as Chaos spokewoman). Who knows what DEEP/Redux would do with it. I hope who is good, but it certainly seems to be something different to the usual so far.
Also, the Nocture argument is something that I dont understand , or better said, I understand it, and I just feel like a weird attempt to novelty. Sorry but, Reasons are nonsense. Isamu is build to be as unlikeable and cowardly is possible, Chiaki is a bitch who mix the two most unlikeable aspects of Law and Chaos while killing the only sympathetic characters, of those Hikawa is the only one who comes as somewhat sympathetic, and then, all three are sidelined for the TDE ending, who is the ending who explain the details of the setting in general. Nocturne had a godly atmosphere, but the ideologies and endings are just show as unlikeable in purpose, and I dont get why someone would prefer them to Alignments.
There issues with the Law and Chaos system, and that issue is mainly, Neutral, and how is show as better than the others options, but That is a issue with the system who must be fixed, instead of just destroying it.
The spin offs of SMT, were games set on different settings, to try and prove something new, so far, Devil Survivor tried to put a more human face to the Law and Chaos confict in DeSu1 (and honestly, is something who would be tried in mainline too), and DeSu2 tried a new type of alternative aligment system, about its sucess, well, is other thing.
Honestly, the
