Best vine to cover this wall? On rooftop, NE-facing, about 6 hours direct morning sun. I am choosing between jasmine, honeysuckle, and climbing hydrangea - looking for the fastest growing. Thanks!

Planning what plants to buy for pollinator friendly flower beds and would love some feedback before buying. The larger of the two beds I was going for a cooler tone vibe with the climbing rose as a center piece (hence the red) and the smaller being warmer tone. I did plant the hydrangea last year.

Tore out an old hydrangea that was growing too big for the space that was planted by someone else. I replaced it with a climbing rose called America. Iβm in zone 7 but itβs an east facing flower bed that gets 4-5 hours of direct sun in the mornings. Will that be enough?

How can you grow/root a Climbing Hydrangea? I have a bunch of cuttings from one sitting in a cup of water temporarily. Any advice is appreciated!

I received the climbing hydrangea (bottom left) as a gift. Wondering which side of the pergola to plant on. The left side seems correct to me, but itβs quite close to the retaining wall there and Iβm concerned there might not be enough space. The house faces East.

Is it normal for climbing hydrangea to turn yellow this time of year (zone 8b)? If not, what should I do?

Help identifying this vine (weed?) in zone 6B (new jersey). It's growing in-between my climbing hydrangea but not sure if I should let it go or pull it out.

They werenβt kidding when they said it would take 7 years. 7 years to the month, my climbing hydrangea flowered.

2 years ago a neighbor dug up this climbing hydrangea because it had never bloomed. She asked if I wanted it, and I said sure! Here we are, 2 years later, and it is happy and I spy a flower head (its first)!

Climbing Hydrangea or clematis?
Zone 8B. We're putting up a chain link fence in the backyard. It will be straight out the living room window so I'd like to dress it up with a vine of some sort. I've seen climbing hydrangeas, they are gorgeous! But thought they preferred to grow on walls versus wire? Also have liked the fragrant clematis, not sure which is better. Hoping to get something established relatively quick. Planting area is full sun midday and shaded in the heat of the afternoon.

Climbing Hydrangea on Fiber Cement siding?
Hey folks,
We have a farmhouse that has fibrr concrete siding that I'd love to plant some sort of climbing plant against (or at least a trellace a foot or so away from the wall).
I've really liked the idea of climbing hydrangea as it would reach up the 2 story wall, though I know any sort of climbing plant could be problematic for siding on a house. Is fiber cement siding more resistant to this sort of thing compared to traditional wood siding? Any tips and help would be appreciated! Thanks!
