A list of puns related to "Cichlid"
I cannot believe he would think this is okay. My brother is 11 and to get his βrevengeβ on me for telling him to knock it off after hearing he was misbehaving at school. I get home work and come home to the decor messed up badly in my tank and the net left out. I asked my brother and he said he fed my cichlids with my tiny fish because he was mad. That situation is handled but iβm very upset. Some of the fish I noticed were gone were some of my first ever. He said he did not keep count or knew what he took out and basicly murdered. I noticed my diamond tetras were gone, my first everfish a danio, and some cories and my clown loach which was in here to grow out. Question is, is it safe to swallow cories? I know I canβt get them back by now but with their bony structure is it safe for the cichlids?
EDIT: To clarify to all the helpful people here, I forgot to mention my brother is bipolar. This is not the first time he has done stuff like this as about a year ago he keyed the neighbors car and also tried to cut random wires next to our power box. He does see counseling once a week but my mom has decided to take him to a medical professional for their advice for the next step.
As for the hundreds of comments. I never did expect this much help! Thank all of you! I am glad I got some great insight in terms of the health of my fish but more importantly the health of my brother.
If this sort of post is not allowed here let me know and I can take it down.
Iβm currently setting up a new aquarium, 29 gallon long, and I love cichlids but the majority of them get way too large. Are there any cichlids that stay smaller that I could safely stock it with or is 29 gallons too small for any type of cichlid regardless of size? I have quite a bit of experience with tropical fish but have never kept cichlids so any rarer advice would also be appreciated if 29 gallons is acceptable for the smaller ones. Thank you!
Hey guys so I'm thinking of upgrading to a bigger tank. I currently have a 60g and might double in tank size. What are your thoughts on pool sand for a substrate. I already have a fine sand substrate in my current tank. Im planing on transferring current sand into new tank. Could I just add pool sand instead of purchasing the more expensive substrate.
