So I basically come from warzone, pubg and apex, and I'd lie if I said I enjoyed BR,, far from it, I really just enjoy the settings, the gunplay, how realistic everything looks, feels and plays...etc.

I played a lot of BF3 back in the day, then I quit gaming for a long time and came back when warzone dropped. Ngl, MW2019 is a solid game. I fell in love with the gritty tone they had on the modern day civil and proxy wars and the overall vibe is just astonishing beyond belief.

Cold war integrated last year and the game started going downhill from there. That gunplay feel to it went away and it's now a Frankenstein of weird COD releases. The latest vanguard release was the tackiest of them of them all, let's not talk about that.

Anyway. I had high hopes for BF2042, so I got the EA play and tried the beta when it was released. I ain't no passionate BF games player, but that game felt off. Way off. And since I had the EA subscription for a month, I tried BF5 while I'm at it, well, it's good, but not GOOD enough. Felt a bit fake.

So I gave up on the battlefield franchise altogether, but I keep seeing videos of BF1 lobbies' chaos, and it just looks like a real all-out war where people are terrified to death and are dying. Other games try to recreate that but they fail miserably. It's just too much bombing noise or whatever, and it feels like a fake ass game. BF1 is not.

The voices of the dead scared men, the foreign languages, the whistles when charging a location, the destruction, the weapons feel, the character is not a fucking disabled piece of shit like pubg, he actually can climb rocks and obstacles, run fairly fast and go to prone, crouch end jump almost on command... And then you get the settings, the maps look absolutely gorgeous, I played the first mission, that shocked German soldier walking amidst death all stunned, when I saw that, I was like "...wtf?" Never seen that in games before! And your characters are dying? Bruh Price has been in the COD franchise since COD2 10 years ago.

I also like how they emphasize team play through their challenges. I found myself not enjoying the iron sights and the current weapon at all and wanted to unlock other weapons and voila, I need to revive 20 people. And here I thought I'd play with the assault class and keep demolishing buildings over campers.

Heyo very new player here, i was advised to play chaos by a friend to learn each unit, i have now played 50 games and sitting aroun 1450elo, I am looking to learn a new role, Is the 2v2 hybrid the only ranked style? Like is mmr in 4v4 a thing? Because id rather learn somewhere i wont be penalised for loosing

Also id love for a tip for a newb chosing what to play next

One faction represents chaos, the other represents order. E.g you have the Assassin's (chaos) and the Templars (order) or you have organics (chaos) and machines (order) or the runners (chaos) and the conglomerate (order). It's a tired trope that has little nuance since it enforces a black and white view. Two sides with no gray area.

Basically as title. We know that the big 4 will only ever stop their infighting when there is something that threatens their existence, examples include 3 teaming up to stop 1 brother that gets too powerful. Even then their brief alliance can only ever last until the 1 upstart is hammered down just enough that he cant threaten the whole game; before their alliance collapses into infighting.

This looks a lot like what happened in the Horus Heresy, the 4 gods teaming up for long enough to stop The Emperors plans, but falling to infighting before they are actually able to finish him off. They seem to have treated him exactly the way they treat any other member of the great game. Given this, is it safe to assume that, at the very least, The Chaos Gods thought that The Emperor, if left unopposed, would be able to destroy them?

im very bored and every game just feels repetitive. So im looking for a sandbox game with godly abilities where you can just do whatever you want:

Some pretext to this game: I'm a high SR Ana one-trick trying to commit to learning Mercy on an alt so I have flex options, but I'm a very aggressive Ana player and that will show in this replay. Sometimes it pays off big, sometimes it fails comedically. I chose Mercy because the movement and mastery of Mercy's kit from high ranking (GM/T500) Mercy players never fails to amaze me. In the lower and mid ranks, people criticize Mercy mains for applying little effort and not contributing much, and rightfully so sometimes, but high level Mercy play is a completely different ballgame and I have nothing but respect for them.

 

I'm pretty much going into this plat-ish SR comp game pretty fresh on Mercy. I'm trying to get used to manipulating her GA movement and momentum, super jumps, slingshots...etc... My team was very nice and supportive to me and I'm not grouped with any of them, so that was a nice surprise. They even were yelling out to me in chat, "GET HER MERCY, GET THE WIDOW/TRACER!" and cheering for me in those fights. Even when I made big oofs and mistakes, they were still very polite like when I clearly should've healed but instead had the glock out. Critique, criticize, and roast my gameplay, or just watch it for the memes and entertainment. It was a very fun game with little toxicity aside from 1 enemy support who said "I'll trade both our dps for your Mercy." Thanks all, enjoy the clown fiesta! :)

I have seen many people complain about the management of the game and that they want everything unlocked, man you buy Jurassic world evolution 2 because it is a management game, that's what the game is about

Besides that it is not so difficult, the mechanics are similar to the first game, just see what is missing and now

Considering that there's only supposed to be one singular Hivemind, it doesn't seem to make sense for them to waste biomass fighting among themselves. Even if they were conducting 'war games' to accelerate their evolutionary process, wouldn't it make more sense to do this against prey species whose biomass would make it a net gain?

Also to clarify : by Tyranid vs Tyranid I strictly mean Hive Fleets and their war organisms, not including Genestealer cults.
