A factory will be extended and it will consist of sulphuric acid and caustic soda and these two substances are hazardous substances which will be stored with propane which is a flammable substance and storage of these chemicals can pose various hazards to people and properties both on site and off site but theses hazards can be prevented or reduced as low as reasonably practical.

If anyone has had successful pedal etches using the toner transfer/caustic soda method, I could really use some help! I've seen some people achieve some really clean etches. After many trials and errors, I still have yet to produce a clean, deep etch. The problem I think I'm having is finding the right paper and possibly the quality of the printed image. The caustic soda seems to start eating through the toner, without actually etching very deep into the enclosure. Is it possible the toner isn't thick enough? Maybe the toner isn't fully transferring from the paper to the enclosure? What paper and printers are you having success with (please be brand specific). Thanks!!

I plan on using it to make 1M NaOH solutions, but the problem is if I dont remove all the moisture from the beads, if I mass them out, im out of luck... Because it is technical grade, im not sure how much moisture they are... I do have kiln wire, and will jerry rig a kiln which can prolly do up to 1000*C... Prolly do that in a flower pot or old oil drum with some diy refractory cement.
Question: Will heating NaOH remove all the moisture yes / no ?
As I said above I used caustic soda powder to clean a carpet.... now it no longer smells unpleasant but has a ‘greasy’ feel. What should I do.
And before anyone thinks it yeah I probably did something stupid.....
