Calochortus amabilis (Golden fairy lantern). I was doing some brush clearing on our hillside and saw twenty or thirty of these little lilies. Calflora says they are basically native to the Napa and Sonoma.

The Jepson key for and to Calochortus plummerae needs some serious work. That or Calochortus weedii intermedius falls in to places it does not belong. I don't know. Found this individual yesterday in the Santa Monica Mountains.
