What if the Buran shuttle was returned to a museum?

To anyone who grew up in the Soviet era, do you think it is a shame that the Buran was left rotting in the of the desert in Kazakhstan?

While I know that saving it would have been prohibitively expensive to maintain it in the early 90s. I imagine that making a museum out of the Baikonur Cosmodrome, would have attracted many visitors. It is terrible to know that it was destroyed due to neglect.

To anyone (preferably who is not relgious) do you think it would have been much better to move the Buran to a Museum in a large city or just spending money on maintaining Baikonur Cosmodrome as opposed to rebuilding catherdrals destroyed in the Soviet era?

I personally think that money used to rebuild some cathedrals destroyed during the Soviet era, was a waste compared to saving to what saving Buran and Baikonur Cosmodrome from total could've been. I live in the USA. not religious, and remember more businesses being closed on Sundays and Holidays 15-20 years ago than are today. As a side note is this the case in Russia today compared to 15-20 years ago?

TIL that the Soviet Union built their own Space Shuttle in secret. In November of 1988, they revealed and launched The Buran for it’s one and only flight successfully. Působím na lidi jako buran, když ve formálním nebo pracovním prostředí mluvím obecnou češtinou?

Během celého svého dospívání jsem byl zvyklý se všemi mluvit obecnou češtinou, protože tak se spolu bavili všichni kolem mě. Po nástupu do práce ale často mluvím nebo telefonuju s lidmi mimo okres, a vždycky mě zaskočí když narazím na spisovnou mluvu. Nedokážu teď říct konkrétní výrazy, ale jsou některé, které prostě běžně neslýchám. Nejčastěji se mi to stává, když třeba mluvím s obchodním zástupcem z Moravy nebo z Prahy. V ten moment znejistím, protože nechci působit jako buran, když jednám za firmu. A protože nejsem zvyklý mluvit spisovně začnu to tak trochu motat dohromady.

Když mluvím přirozeně, tak třeba větu z prvního odstavce bych vyslovil takto: "Během celýho svýho dospívání sem byl zvyklej se všema mluvit vobecnou češtinou" - a jakýkoliv jiný tvar je pro mě prostě nepřirozený.

Je tu někdo do řešil podobný problém? Naučili jste se prostě přepínat, nebo to vůbec neřešíte?
