A list of puns related to "Brum"
Birmingham Cycling Campaign currently goes by the name of Pushbikes.org
If it weren't for the hard work of Pushbikes, we wouldn't have got the blue route 'cycle superhighways' on the A34 and A38 - these guys campaigned for quality over quantity.
But, as I'm sure you're aware, there's still a long way to go......in order to have more of a voice and to effect real change in Birmingham, we need a collective effort.
I recently joined and would encourage anyone who cares about getting better cycling infrastructure in the city to do the same. It won't cost you anything.
First year membership is FREE and gives you benefits such as discounts in various shops.
The more members we have, the more chance we have of influencing councilors, politicians and other stakeholders. As a member, you're not technically required to do anything - however if you want to attend the monthly meetings (currently via Zoom) you're welcome to do so. And if anyone wants to take more of an active role, that's even better.
In case anyone is interested, here's the link to join up https://www.pushbikes.org.uk/about-us/join-push-bikes
Follow the 'send us your details link' and then select the 'First Year Free Membership' radio button.
Thanks and stay safe.

We need more of this....
.............and less of this
Out of interest, what areas are considered to be the poshest/most affluent?
I'm headed to your city in August and I haven't left the house since I had kids 5 years ago (don't worry, I'm not bringing them). So I'm shooting for the full Magic Kingdom of Birmingham experience.
What brunches do you all most recommend? I'd love to have a little send off brunch before all my little group of friends fly back to their countries after our Birmingham convergence comes to an end. It can be down and dirty with drag queens, or just a pleasant patio with stand out food.
Also, does anyone know a butcher that carries or can order rabbit? Preferably wild rabbit, but farm raised is cool too.
My first general post is here
Bit of a controversial one lol, but needing a flag for Wednesday. Is there anywhere (preferably central) where I can buy one?
Hey with the current clean air zone i know people have been struggling to get in and around the city centre. I work in birmingham city centre and travel the every weekday. Im considering offering a lift to person/ persons on a mutual agreement of a small donation to fuel costs. This would be considerably less than buses.
I travel from smethwick area to city centre near childrens hospital at around 5.30am every week day and back around 2.30pm.
If you intrested let let me know
(wrong Birmingham, ignore post, sorry!)
Hello Brum friends! Could anybody recommend a bakery that could make me a numbers cake like the photo attached? Simple white cake with fresh fruit and whipped topping. This reference photo is from Peony Bakes but I understand that they are closed temporarily.

Good that i have lots of energy and vitality!
Hey all sorry if this breaks the rules, a welsh villa fan here in the holy city for the weekend. Staying very centrally and wondering if anyone knew of any bars that would have a few fellow welshies in for tomorrowβs game. Cheers
Are there clubs? If not, does anyone want to start one with me?
The travel YouTuber The Tim Traveller has posted his annual viewer challenge.
This year the challenge is to find the most foreign looking place where you live, make it look like you've visited a different country/culture/region... from home.
Any good ideas around Birmingham?

Hey all!
I'm an independent Birmingham journalist working on a story about the Kitty Cafe after seeing some particularly negative glassdoor reviews regarding allegations concerning staff treatment and animal welfare. If you knows of anyone who has worked at the Kitty Cafe in the past, particularly the Brum outlet, or you yourself have worked there - my Reddit DM's are open. If you do have a contact who has worked there in the past and would be so kind as to refer them to me, please make sure they're comfortable discussing this matter first.
Please also feel free to get in touch if you've had a noteworthy experience as a customer there, be it good or bad.
Thanks!
Hi, sorry for the formatting, as I've typed this on my phone.
Me and my girlfriend are in Brum this weekend and were wondering what couply, date things we can do. I know Reddit is the holy grail for things like this, so what type of things can we do in Brum together? We're open for anything to be honest and would be very appreciative of any ideas! We're both students but have hardly been in the city because of online learning and staying at home :)
Appreciate I have left this very late so I anticipate there will be no availability for tomorrow's game against Ukraine, but assuming we do the job tomorrow, any suggestions for decent places to watch the semis (or even final) in Birmingham or south of the city (Moseley, KH, Solihull) that might not already be booked up?
Ideally would like somewhere with a decent atmosphere but I'd happily avoid the drunken idiots that chuck half their pint in the air when England score (good job we're set up defensively)!
Thanks!
Afternoon all,
I've been Roleplaying for most of my adult life with the ole pen and paper, but im looking to branch out in to Live Action RP. Can anyone Suggest somewhere i can go to give it a bash now that we are unlocking.
Kindest regards,
Silver
Looking for a nice quite independent (non chain) country/village pub near to Brum, no longer than 30 mins away preferabley, nice garden is a must as we'll be eating outside. Does anyone know of any like this?
I love the The Harbourin Arley. The garden has chickens roaming freely around you and there's a small farm for goats. But it's quite far, about an hour away (i'm in Great Barr). Would love to find a nice pub in the countryside with lovely views. Maybe somewhere in Lichfield? Malvern? Let me know if you know any hidden treasures!
Can be a chain owned pub if it's really nice, just prefer to support small businesses, especially in these times.
So Iβve been living in Brum for a little while now, (me and my partner), weβre both very early 30βs used to live in London and moved up here when the pandemic hit to be closer to family.
Weβre actually really liking it and are thinking of settling for longer.
Need some help though: Is it a good time to buy in Brum?
If so, any good areas? We currently live in the JQ and want something a little quieter and chilled out with more of a community vibe. Still would like some pubs and restaurants but donβt mind if theyβre not next door.
Price range max Β£300k but would be happier buying something round Β£250k.
Will it be a good investment? Weβre looking to live in the house for a fair few years but what do you all reckon?
Any general thoughts appreciated!
Iβm planning a trip to central Birmingham for a weekend (Iβm crazy I know) and would ideally like to park somewhere I can chain up my motorbike.
Does anyone know if any of the motorcycle bays have ground anchors or bars to chain to?

Please advise should you have any "missing files" or corrected metadata etc.
It is important to "vote up" (the arrows to the left of the title) if you like this file/series, so I get feedback as to the type of material people want to see.

Me and my friends are thinking of doing karaoke, we're in our 20s if that makes a difference to recommendations you guys might have? Thanks!
Literally every week or few days there is always a stabbing crime in Birmingham.
