A list of puns related to "Bootleg Recording"
I've obtained quite a few new recordings (thanks largely to u/roffels !!!!) and as such I hit the 20gb limit on mega, so I've switched to google drive. I'm not sure how many of you guys use soulseek, but I'm also sharing this collection there (username simplicial), so feel free to download them from there.
As always, if you have a recording that's not on this list please let me know and I'll be glad to add it to this archive. If you notice any inconsistencies, typos, etc in the file tagging let me know.

Was just curious if there's any more story to the patch audience recordings that are on the official Bootleg Series 4 concert for the Judas show. There are a couple songs on the acoustic side where the mix clearly cuts to an actual bootleg, presumably to patch up something they are missing on the soundboard or otherwise. I was curious if there's been anything more said about that over the years. Does it seem weird that they don't have like 45 seconds of a song but have the rest of the show? Is the patch from that show or from a different show? I'm certainly happy they released it the way they did, making it as complete as possible, but just found it interesting and never read more aboutt he patches.
Really enjoy their cover of that song but can only find live videos of them playing it.
Of course Iβve seen the assortment of clips put out by many users, but I was wondering if thereβs any full recordings of the nights. Lonely New Years could use some gizz magic I think
Looking for:
-Live in Middleton, Ohio 3/27/10
-Norm MacDonald - Live Stand up at Comedy Car Hole
-Austin Texas 2010.
Some were uploaded to this subreddit like 7 years ago but the links are dead now so if anyone has the recording you are a legend.
And yes! I will be uploading an archival link of my current collection. But in the meantime I uploaded them all to my YouTube channel (bubbyberry) I only upload the rarest ones, not the ones you have probably already seen all over youtube and no I will never put ads on my videos like 'i'm not norm'.
Just wondering what bootlegs stuck with people. Any from an era not documented by the bootleg series? What are your favorite parts?
can't find anything about it and just saw some records being advertised as "bootlegs", but they had "xl recordings" printed on the back. so still not sure what is a boot and what is a real blonde record (the records were sealed so couldn't check for colour). hope someone can help me out!
been thinking of making ones for previous tours π§

The playlist includes all tracks of the (regular edition) Bootleg Series albums, to the extent to which they are available on Spotify. I tried to get the order as accurate as possible, which means that for some periods it is accurate to the day, and when I could not find the specific recording date it is often at least accurate to the month. Unsurprisingly, most recordings are from the original acoustic era and the electric era (1962-1967). Other eras with a notable number of recordings are '69-'70 (the Country era) and '74-'75 (70s Comeback). The playlist probably isn't flawless but I think it makes an interesting 25+ hours listen of the evolution of Dylan's music.
I'm wondering what the best Dylan concert is that was ever recorded?
Hey Iβm just wondering if anyone here has a line on any recordings/bootlegs of Maggieβs set at Ohana Festival? More specifically, Iβm looking for her incredible performance of βBack In My Bodyβ which I canβt find anywhere on YouTube or anywhere else. Thanks so much :)
I hope this isn't breaking any rules....but does anyone know how the Brothers feel about concert recordings (aka "bootlegs")?
I look at the setlists for the nights at RR that I missed and I'd love to hear them! I know bands like PJ embrace a lot of it. Thanks everyone and stay safe at all the shows!

Gee im a nerd
So I have recently become embroiled in a discussion regarding a subject in which we significantly disagree; bootleg recordings.
In my opinion bootleg recordings are at their best fun curious, but they can never compete with the best work an artist releases in their final, polished form. My friend, on the other hand, is obsessed with them. Heβs one of those people who claim that Joy Division never sounded as good in the studio, that the Smile Sessions arenβt nearly as great as the 1989 Smile, that Songs from the Black Hole is the best thing Weezer ever did... you get the idea.
Let me also clarify I donβt have an issue with live recordings, some of my favorite albums are live ones, my issue that I find bootlegs to usually be poorly recorded.
Also, if an artist believes a song too awful to be released you should believe them.
So basically I wanted to get some more opinions regarding this issue.
UPDATED 9/18/2021: See note at the bottom of the post.
The following are out-of-print and bootleg recordings by Peter Bellamy. The LPs were never released on CD and the (few) CDs are no longer being sold and not available on music streaming services. However, if you are the rights owner and would like me to remove the links, please message me and I will do so.
The bootlegs were collected from various places online. Again, if you were the original recorder of the bootleg and would like me to take it down, please message me.
Not all of these are in FLAC just because I've never encountered the FLAC floating around the internet. If you have FLAC of any of these recordings and would like to share, please message me a link.
1975 - Tell It Like It Was (Live LP) / Format: VBR mp3: Download
1975 Live LP that's never been released on CD. More information at Discogs.
1980 - Live in Australia with Shirley Collins (Live Radio Recording by Hagman from Mudcat.org) / Format: FLAC: Download
Awesome quality recording of a full Peter Bellamy and Shirley Collins performance in Australia (seriously, this is high quality enough that they should release it on CD). Has radio interviews with both performers intercut between songs. I tracked this from the WAVs that were floating around and cut out the studio recordings of songs that the radio station played so that it's just the live performances. Both performers take the stage solo twice, then end by performing 3 songs together.
1980 - Kipling Radio Documentary (Live Radio Recording by Hagman from Mudcat.org) / Format: FLAC: Download
Fascinating 4 hour 1980 Radio Documentary hosted by Bellamy where he plays his Kipling songs and discusses their history and meaning, both to Kipling and himself. Also includes an interview from ABC Radio. Thanks to Hagman for recording it when it originally aired and contributing to this thread. I was waiting to upload these until I'd listened, as I wanted to see if it needed to be tracked, but it really doesn't. In fact, someone should upload it to Youtube, if it hasn't yet been uploaded there, as that might be the best venue for i

Personally I think that with the exception of the incomplete soundboards, both shows in Osaka 1971 are the best but what do I know
An archive of all the Bon Iver concert recordings I have, in the highest quality I could find, tagged with covers, etc. Currently they're all in .m4a format, just because that's the easiest for my personal music library, but if people want me to make it available in other formats then I can do that. Also if you would like me to use some site other than mega then I can try to switch to something that's easier.
If you have a recording that's not on this list please let me know and I'll be glad to add it to this archive. Also if you notice any inconsistencies, typos, etc in the file tagging let me know.
I am working on info files (with setlists, notes, etc) but that will likely take a while. But in the meantime, please enjoy these recordings.
