A list of puns related to "Blood Product"
I'm thinking of neurosurgeons asking for prophylactic platelet transfusions when counts are >100k, cardiac surgeons routinely asking for FEIBA coming off pump, requests for desmopressin for CKD3/4 without uremia, etc. In residency, these demands are always honored without much pushback. Even had a gyn ask me for TXA in a TAH-BSO. It actually makes me appreciate working with vascular surgeons much more...
How does this play out in the real world?
This has been floating around my mind for awhile, I understand bidets exist but not sure to what extent people use them. Is it just for #2? I have a sprayer bidet attachment but only use for #2 and still dab dry with toilet paper. I also wrap my feminine products in tp before placing in the trash. I know my bidet is different than what other people have and I do like having it but just don't see me living a 100% toilet paper free life because I need it to dab and for lady stuff.
This is what I'm mad about. I take warfarin, and have a mechanical heart valve. This product contains a dosage of Vitamin K that will interfere with your therapy. It will not be painless. It will not be pleasant. You will end up coughing up chunks of blood and in the ICU as they pump you full of things to bring up your INR
This is why you put disclaimers to talk to a doctor before talking about any kind of pills, even vitamins. Ritual doesn't even put a warning on their bottle about stuff like this. They don't even put the ingredient on the bottle as far as I can tell. And vitamins have been normalized to the point even someone on blood thinners might think "oh that'll help me" and end up very, very hurt.
Adam's responses so far haven't even acknowledged that he should have maybe put a fucking disclaimer in his video. Instead he's getting defensive and snarky. You can try and downplay this, or say it doesn't matter; but it sure as hell matters to the people it could hurt.
This is exactly why best practice when you're discussing medical stuff is to tell your audience to Speak to a doctor.
I'm getting used to OMAD again after a very difficult period, & on meds which I've not had before. Life is pretty stressful, & I need the simplest one-stop solution that I can buy pre-made for electrolytes.
I have some cardiac issues & need to keep my electrolytes up. My appetite isn't great on the new meds, which suits OMAD perfectly but does mean I'm struggling to balance out magnesium, Potassium, etc from just food, & I don't have the mental/emotional capacity or time at the moment to track what I'm eating to try & juggle it.
Can you recommend any electrolyte products which are in one & cover the correct levels please? Something I can take in the morning to stop me feeling head-spinny & out of it by late afternoon.
