[Blizzard Entertainment chief legal officer resigns

Despite pretty hefty issues regarding the legal end of the company, Blizzard seems to be making headway in game development. Here's what the situation looks like thanks to a recent job listing at the moment.

The description of the Associate Content Designer job reads, "As an associate content designer, you will foster Blizzard’s core value of ‘Gameplay First’ as you collaborate with a team of designers, engineers, and artists responsible for crafting this unannounced project’s world."

There's also a mention of “experience working on an FPS game” and “previous design experience for Online/Multiplayer games” in the listing. All this points towards an FPS open-world game with RPG elements.

Now, there has been a previously spotted job listing as well that we have to put in the equation, but that one doesn't mention first-person shooter anywhere, so maybe that's something different.

What do you guys think? A hybrid of two genres?

Quick bullet points:

• There has been a LONG history of abuse from leadership towards it's workers, including deep rooted sexual harassment and underpay amongst it's staff.
• The games industry as a whole is not unionized, and many workers across the board face growing pressure to hit tighter deadlines, work longer hours, and endure harassment and abuse often stemming from leadership, as Blizzard is.
• Blizzard Entertainment workers are NOT currently unionized, and need financial support to pull off their strike.

Details of the lawsuits against Blizzard in the past year and its history of abuse can be found in the GofundMe (Please consider supporting their strike) that has been created by the ABK Workers Alliance (co-created by Jessica Gonzalez, X-Blizzard and co-founder of the ABK Workers Alliance).
