A list of puns related to "Bell 47"
The desperation is obviousβ¦
It's happening. AARP is coming.
The time took weeks to get and it's hard to even save a tenth of a second now
Going to try and keep this positive, but the first couple of times I went up in a Robinson R44 back in 2012, I felt that those controls just felt a little too squirrely for my liking. However, several years after, I'm wanting to get back into it in the PPL capacity and I've been searching around schools that offer training in the 300 or the Bell 47. I've watched videos on those two birds and the controls seem more akin to those of a traditional helicopter(cyclic in the middle, seemingly easier to handle without going too out of control,. etc). And in addition, while I'm trying to burn off my own weight issues, they seem to be capable of supporting more of just that. I'm still searching around for the right schools, but for now I've kind of got myself narrowed down to a couple of spots in Colorado and maybe a couple down in parts of TX in case I've got to move closer to them.
At this point, I'm just trying to find something I feel I might be more comfortable with if I decide to go further into it. Never actually been up in either the Hughes or the Bell 47, so a discovery flight in either one of those would be worth checking out.
