A list of puns related to "Atlantic Canada"
We just updated the server for version 1.18, so it's a great time to check out the new Caves & Cliffs!
The server is mostly populated with players from Atlantic Canada, but anyone is welcome to join. It is hosted in Newfoundland.
It's a Java server on 1.18. This means you cannot join this server from consoles or mobile devices, as Java Minecraft is only available on PC.
I have committed to not resetting this map until at least Summer 2023. Even then it is possible to preserve large parts of the map and just regenerate the content in between if that's what we want to do at that point.
It is primarily Survival gameplay, with a few plugins (server side mods) to spice it up. But they're all pretty much optional so you can play vanilla if that's what you want. One of the most useful features is the ability to claim plots of land so that you don't have to worry about other players breaking things you build.
Hope to see some new faces around!

Our SA emailed use today saying he has secured us a VIN for our Model 3, We will be picking it up January 22-25 in Ottawa! Looking forward to the road-trip home!
It's back to North America today to explore the eastern fringes of Canada - challenge link
The format is no moving and no time limit. All locations should have enough visible information to be pinpointable and aren't intended to be too difficult (mostly). If you can score 25000 then how quickly can you do it?
Hi. I just bought my SR+ in the summer of 2021 and am thinking about rust treating it (Rust Check or similar). I'm in Atlantic Canada so we get heavy use of road salt in winter. I have always gotten my previous vehicles done. Has anyone with a Tesla had experience with getting this done and the differences between ICE and EV applications. I am concerned about the shop lifting it correctly if it's not a regular vehicle they do.
To add to my interest is that I keep the vehicle in a heated garage when not driving so it's in a freeze, melt cycle all the time.
Thanks
Hey eastern friends!
I'll be flying out to Halifax from Calgary this summer (covid willing) and I'd love to do a road trip through Nova Scotia and the rest of Atlantic Canada, including Newfoundland. Is there a way to do this without breaking the bank on a 3-week car rental from a big rental agency like Enterprise? In an even more perfect world, my friend and I would love to rent a camper van, but after a short google search, that's looking like it would be exorbitantly expensive (one company quoted over $5000!!!).
In your opinion, is a road trip with a rental at all feasible? We fly in and out of Halifax and have three weeks in June. We're also trying to cut costs where possible and are looking to minimize lodging costs (hence the desire for a camper van). Are there any services out there that I may be missing for such rentals?
Thanks in advance!!
Sincerely,
A Prairie boy who wants to experience the East
I'm looking for anyone(or two) who is chill and doesn't get salty or upset, that's also free to play mornings.
I've got over 2000 hours in the game. Pretty open to any map or quest goals. I'm also happy to teach Tarkov specific things, but not basic FPS tactics. Please know that standing still in a field is asking for trouble.
Please send me a message on here if you're interested.
Notes:
-I tried this post a few weeks ago and had only one out of 6 folks play. Please don't message me if you're not actually looking for raid partners/teammates.
The salary report came out a few days ago and as an EIT in Nova Scotia I was of course interested to see how I stacked up. After looking through and knowing what the organization I work for pays I was surprised I was below the mean by a bit. Where I work for employs a decent percentage of the EITs in Halifax at a salary which is a decent bit below the mean. Therefore in my mind the mean might be artificially low due to the organization I work for.
So I am wondering for those EITs making the mean salary or above where are you all working? Any surprises in the numbers?
Any Waterloo people here out east? How are you doing now?
