Arches Of The Foot Puns

Hi Everyone! For the last couple months I’ve had a pain in the arch of my foot, which gets a lot worse if I’m walking. When I rest it for a couple days the pain goes away, and when I try to walk again it comes back (sometimes with a vengeance). I’ve done some googling and the pain looks isolated to the area called ‘the knot of Henry’ - is anyone familiar with this? My ankle doesn’t hurt at all, it’s just this one area. When I walk and put weight on my toe for pushing off of the floor it sends an electric shock down my foot.

Im seeing a podiatrist soon so I hope to get answers. I’ve been told in the past that I overpronate when walking and I’ve worn and adjusted custom orthotics for this for the last 5+ years. Any advice is super appreciated as I can’t work right now due to the discomfort and pain.

For whatever reason, the arches of feet are very tight and cramp up when they are flexed/pointed. I notice this the most when I'm doing Bulgarian Split Squats. The foot on the bench (which is pointed) and flexed down really cramps up after a few reps. Are there any stretches or exercises I could try that would prevent this? Thanks for the help!

Hi, I noticed slight discolouration yesterday, but it was nowhere near as bad, and I just assumed it would go away. I woke up this morning and it had become significantly worse.

There is no pain or discomfort associated with the discolouration.

I am a perfectly healthy 19 year old man. I am 6'3 225lbs.

I am not currently taking any medication, and had to be cleared to play varsity sports at my university a week ago, so had all my vitals taken (everything that needed to be done to determine I was healthy).

I haven't been eating super well the past week, as I've had a lot of midterms (probably not as many fruits or vegetables as I should be eating, more junk food than normal etc) , and I've probably consumed more alchohol than I should have, but other than that nothing super out of the ordinary has occurred.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm super busy this week so I'm hoping I don't have to go get an appointment with my university's medical centre (as that takes a long time) but if I have to obviously I will.

It’s only in one foot and it’s more of an ache then a sharp pain, what can I do to avoid this?

Been working 10-12 hour days lately but I’ve never experienced this in the past..
