A list of puns related to "American History"
This is apache version of history I thought
My final project was "Gettysburg, a dress".
Math, physics, comp sci. The only easy class was "The American Century." Open book midterm and final, so he wasn't going to do any of the reading all semester.
βItβs a huge waste of time, Dad,β he laughed when I objected. βIβm not learning a damn thing in the class.β
βWell, then youβre just going to have to take that class over again,β I snapped at him.
βWhat are you talking about?β he yelped.
βYou know why, Gabe,β I said. βThose who donβt learn from history are condemned to repeat it.β
He was finally doing the reading for his history class. "Did you know that Bin Laden was planning to blow up monuments in other American cities?"
"I bet St. Louis was next on his list," I nodded.
"How'd you know that, Dad?" he asked in surprise.
"Well, he was our arch-enemy."
They're hill areas.
It was my sixth grade American history class.
There is a poster due in my US history class about the Spanish American war. My group wants the title to be a pun, and preferably involves the USS Maine. Another group has the title "the Maine problem" so we can't use that. Please help and thanks.
So we're discussing some of the Indian tribes in my Early American History class today, and he ends class by saying:
"How do you get an Indian wet?
You Tippecanoe."
