A list of puns related to "Air Freshener"
If you think about it, it makes scents.
Hi there! First time mom to a 1 year old. We have a diaper genie. We get scented bags and even have thrown those "small space" air fresheners in the bottom of it, but I feel like my son's room ALWAYS smells like poop.
We use wax warmers around our house, but I know those aren't safe for his room. I am weird and scared of plug ins, and I cannot do oil infusers.
Do I have ANY other options? I'd love to not hate hanging out in his room with him. π
Most artificially chemically scented things are not good for us to breathe and can cause some serious health issues in people who are sensitive. Yet for some reason, companies are making more and more products that are scented and it is unnecessary and sometimes downright harmful. At the store, it can be difficult to avoid on occasion accidentally purchasing or being inundated with smells from scented trash bags, cat litter, laundry detergent, air freshener, even things like toilet paper, vacuum bags, tampons, makeup are all heavily scented and sometimes not labeled. In fact, the law does not require products to list anything other than 'fragrance' as an ingredient which could potentially be thousands of different things. These products often show up in places like public restrooms and ubers and many places where they are extremely difficult to avoid. As someone with debilitating sensitivities to many of these products, I find myself getting physically ill and constantly frustrated by their use and growing prevalence. They aren't good for anyone and are usually totally unnecessary. I understand that people want things that smell good, or to make themselves or their homes smell good, and there are so many ways to do that without using toxic chemicals that make some people quite sick.
Basically...I'd rather smell sh*t in a bathroom for a couple minutes than be unable to breathe from chemical exposure.
Well, the title says it all. Itβs a short one but I was absolutely mortified.
I work as a carer for disabled and elderly people. Itβs a lovely job, but hard work and equal parts upsetting and rewarding.
One of the elderly ladies I care for - her name is Madge. Sheβs bed bound, so we do everything for her from change a pad, give her a bed bath, feed her, brush her hair etc. Sheβs also absolutely lovely but has no clue whatβs going on half the time.
I have had this job since the end of November. Madge has various bottles of perfumes on top of a set of drawers by her bed, and once weβve finished her bed bath and getting her dressed, Iβve been picking up one perfume in particular as it smells absolutely amazing and spraying her all over with it.
Not one of my colleagues has ever said a thing. Until today.
I picked up my favourite spray for Madge, spritz her all over, and begin to tidy up. My colleague today, who I donβt work with all that often, spoke up with some damning words:
βYou do know thatβs air freshener, donβt you mate?β
No Lisa. No I did not.
I have been spraying dear old Madge with room spray since November 2020, and only now has it been highlighted.
The only perk I can take away from this is that Marks and Spencerβs Nectarine & Orange room spray is both long lasting and absolutely worth the money.
TL;DR covered disabled old lady with room spray which smells delicious
Room Spray which definitely looks like body spray
EDIT: I have of course changed the first names of those involved.
Will it ruin the shoes if i spray air freshener on it
