A list of puns related to "Active Intellect"
I have created and minted my first NFT! let me know what you think! I look forward to publishing more of my art through this medium and hope you all enjoy :)
Ok so maybe the right brain/left brain stuff got debunked, maybe not. All I'm asking is how do you activate that part of the brain? Because I saw somewhere that it's that part of the brain which deals with things like seeing spirits or astral projection. Do any of you have binaural beats that are specifically for that or maybe a type of meditation
I've been playing the new Dungeon a bit and Master Runs as well. If you don't know, Master Armor from the new Dungeon is labeled "Artifice" armor. This means there is a 5th mod slot that exclusively can use an artifact mod.
See here: https://i.imgur.com/s6SgWd1.png
AKA - you can use this to help with different builds (Especially in GM's) to get those Ammo Finder, Reload, Scavenger Mods, etc. The most valuable piece of Artifice armor is the Arms/Gauntlets, because of how Anti-Champion mods currently works. You can run 2 Anti-Champ mods + Reloader now. Or run Thermoclastic Blooming + 2 Champion Mods. Or if you have a Stasis Element and want Grenade/Melee Kickstart + Champions depending on your build. This adds more flexibility to loadouts.
IMO - Fully masterworked Exotic Armor should get the same mod slot and options. It almost feels like it's missing something, in the same spot. Give us more reasons to invest in our armor and this would be huge for endgame buildcrafters.
Hey folks,
If you're like me, you've been feeling out the PvP super regen rates this past week and have been noticing some weirdness in how things seem to be working out. As it turns out, the new system for calculating super generation is rather complex and is the product of several intersecting systems.
In this post, I'm going to attempt to break down the numbers involved, what actions count for what, and how they work with standard play. It might get a bit wobbly in places, and, due to Bungie's new commitment to more regular and finer fine-tuning, the truth of these numbers could change later in the season. But, for now, even understanding the system itself will be an important part of discussions going forward.
Anyhow, let's jump in!
[Note: All numbers are an approximation to the closest possible measurable value. Rounding occurred after 2 decimal places. Some subjectivity within measurements is to be expected to due imperfect methods of capture]

This week at Bungie, we take a look at every grain in the abilities sandbox.
Hello, and welcome to another sandbox-focused TWAB. If you’re new around these parts, you may be asking, “What’s a sandbox?” — well, it’s complicated. It's split between the weapons you use, the armor you equip, the perks and mods that you hunt for, and the enemies you face. Let's be real; the Destiny 2 sandbox is broad. Last week, we focused on the weapons sandbox and what changes are planned for December 7. This week, we’re taking a pass on the abilities your Guardian possesses. Think Supers, Melee's, Grenades, Class abilities. I highly recommend you grab a glass of water and maybe even a snack, because we've got a pretty lengthy update for you to read.
Before we dive into the details, it’s customary to have a TWAB intro discussing what’s going on in the realm of Bungie and Destiny. Let’s keep this short and sweet, shall we?
Alright, Sandbox time. Let’s get to it.
There are buffs, there are nerfs, there are tuning levers that we’ve recently unlocked with back-end changes, there are clear separations between PvE and PvP... and more.
There is a lot going on here, so don’t feel bad if you scratch your head wondering how these upcoming changes will feel. If you find anything a bit confusing, please sound off with questions! We’ll clarify as we can on our forums and social spaces. With all that preamble out of the way, I'll finally shut up and pass the mic over to the team.
##New Legends Will Rise
Hey all, Kevin Yanes here to give you a quick intro before I hand off to fellow designers Eric Smith and Mike Humbolt. A few TWABs ago I gave a brief roadmap leading towards our 30th Anniversary, The Witch Queen, and beyond. A new roadmap u
... keep reading on reddit ➡Setting the stage real quick, I was bored one night with shotties, fusions and relying on special ammo for cleanups. So I said fuck it and put on what I considered at the time to be one of the worst exotics in the game. Lo and behold, I liked what I saw so much so, that I am now a devout Tricksleeves main and have consistently used sidearms as secondaries for over 7 months ever since.
I fucking love them, and found that my play style, awareness and aim greatly improved compared to when I was a normie. Girls look at me differently. Guys have even told me they want to be me. What started life as a mere chode has now blossomed into an incredibly vascular, towering work of art. I struggle to keep it contained. It has a mind of its own and can't get any thicker. You want this power? Open your eyes, your mind, and your brain. Trust me bro.
Sidearms have a ton of potential, but you kinda need to build into them for much greater returns compared to other similar weapon types like SMGs (that usually just work great out of the box). There are a couple routes you could go depending on the play style you adopt. The two main ones are max range and max handling. The recommendations below will reflect that. Also I exclusively play solo Hunter in 6s, and have no interest in 3s so keep that in mind. Having said that, there are tons of great applications for elim modes too. I also play on PC with MnK.
Below you will find some of my favorite legendary sidearms, and perks I have found to be pretty good. For every archetype of sidearm, I will provide an alternative if possible, since they have different perk sets which allow for more diverse play styles.
Also, I need to say this - I cannot express just how much I hate full-auto. It messes up the shot pacing, and it makes sidearms feel terrible. Also it's an extra wasted perk slot, now with the mod available. If you want to make sidearms work on MnK, ditch full-auto imo. Btw, RIP Traveler's Chosen w/ catalyst active 😢

Lonesome from the world pool: Pure damage is the play here. This is the best sidearm to get if you wanna stack hella damage mods and reach ridiculous numbers. You can do it fairly regularly too. Max range, high cals, rapid hit + kill clip is your best bet.
Alternative - Enigma's Draw from world pool: If rngesus loves you so, then you shall be blessed with the holiest of them all. This one is my absolute favorite, and

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Last year, I read a Wikipedia article in which someone claimed: “ You can’t do philosophy with the Bible. “
When I reflected on that, I thought to myself: “ They obviously don’t know Saint Thomas Aquinas. “
And in reading Saint Augustine’s City of God, I’m amazed with how logically incisive his taking apart his contemporaries’ paganism is. I really enjoy his intellect!
I was wondering:
How would you all answer an interlocutor claiming you can’t do philosophy with the Bible?
The nurse asked the rabbit, “what is your blood type?”
“I am probably a type O” said the rabbit.
tl;dr: SIFAS has seen a decreasing trend in revenues and player numbers over its lifespan. This can be explained by three main factors that the developers did not fix: controversial game story, stagnant gameplay and being outcompeted by other games. This contributed to SIFAS' low market share and growth which has prompted Klab to sell the game off to MyNet Games.
What’s most important to a business isn’t money. It’s trust… There’s no future for a business that’s lost its trust.
Masato Sanada, High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even In Another World
Love Live! School Idol Festival ALL STARS (SIFAS) is a Rhythm Action RPG mobile game that combines rhythm game and RPG elements. In this game, players collect and train cards representing their favourite Love Live! school idols to clear songs. Unlike conventional rhythm games where stamina is lost every time a player misses or hits a note badly, in this game stamina always gets depleted regardless of whether a person hits a note or not. Hence, players have to employ unique tactics to score in songs while maintaining enough stamina to finish the song. Personally, I enjoy the game as it involves intellect and strategy to build teams to clear songs.
However, since the game was launched on 26 September 2019 in Japan (JP), the game has been on a slow but steady decline in revenue and player numbers. These are a result of the game’s many problems which have not been sufficiently addressed by its developers. These unresolved problems have generated a bad reputation for SIFAS and broken the trust of its casual and serious gamers who have quit SIFAS to play other games. SIFAS’ decline has also motivated Klab to move the game’s development to MyNet Games, a developer with a bad reputation for shutting down mobile games. This post will present the declines in SIFAS’ revenues and player numbers, and explain how Klab’s missteps during SIFAS’ second year have contributed to SIFAS’ decline.
For the past few months, I have been tracking Japanese (JP) revenue of both SIFAS and SIF from game-i. game-i is a Japanese forecasting website for mobile apps which reports on revenue for all JP mobile apps based on data from both the iOS App Store and Google Play. Revenue d

Mu’Gen’s perspective
As I ran after the mysterious warrior Og’Dei, I continued to watch and spy upon him. I made sure that he wouldn’t detect him by bending into the crowd and hiding behind various objects. As I followed him for around a good minute, he finally made a stop near the benches. Of course, as there was no real cover there so I had to stay on the outskirts of the dining area, leaning and hiding behind a tree to watch and listen.
He was meeting up with one person, which i didn;t recognise. He seemed to be relatively young, at least, younger than Og’Dei by maybe one or two years. Around 4’4 in height, but despite that, had a relative bulky build for an orc that young. Perhaps he was just a really short 6 year old orc?
But to my surprise, Og’Dei bowed to him and said, “Young lord Simba, what do you have for me?”
So that was Simba? I knew he was young but, this young? He was what, 4 or 5 years old! Sure he was a future chieftain but still! So this was Simba, Og’Dei’s teacher. My eyes couldn’t believe the sight that was unfolding in front of my eyes. I continued to hi

---
Shadowlands has undoubtedly proven to be amongst the burstiest renditions of Arena in recent memory, especially compared to the snail-pace of Battle for Azeroth. Various design changes played a part in escalating the burst potential of specs, but not all of them had to do with your class per se.
That’s 39.1K damage within a 1.6sec window. From a Healer.
I’m talking, of course, about the set bonus acquired by equipping two PvP trinkets—a very significant, 40% increase to your offensive Versatility. And since Versatility is baseline and always the more plentiful of the two secondary stats available on PvP gear, the impact of the set bonus is easily (and fairly consistently) quantifiable.
https://preview.redd.it/tu142wu58cd81.jpg?width=306&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=38d905a251692a00856266a4f7a1e5aad69856a7
About 14% increased damage (and healing), based on a fairly standard, 35% Versatility character. That’s quite a lot of a baseline increase in power.
That’s going away in Patch 9.2, though.
In Season 3, the PvP Trinkets set bonus will instead boost your Primary stat and Stamina:
https://preview.redd.it/8cz1r4178cd81.jpg?width=369&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=274c9bc270930b5dd551a8ec3ca5f3db976eb115
This raises a few questions, such as whether 175 Strength/Intellect/Agility is superior to a 40% increase in offensive Versatility, and just how much of a difference will the extra Stamina make. To answer those, I did some testing on my Arms Warrior.
I used completely identical gear on both my PTR and Live version of the character, which can be confirmed below.
Completely identical gear on identical characters. Live: Left. PTR: Right.
Since no baseline improvements to the spec’s damage were introduced on the PTR, we’re not comparing apples to oranges, and instead have a valid test. As you might notice, the increase on my PTR warrior’s Strength is 184 instead of the expected 175 the set bonus provides. The reason is simple: to dissuade usage of non-Plate ite

I want to begin by saying that I did not go to Raffles Institution, nor did I go to Hwa Chong, ACJC, or any of the junior colleges that you might consider elite.
I do not believe that the weakest students should be given the least support, while the strongest should be given the most. I believe that the education system we have now is imperfect, and that we ought to have a fairer system that supports each student to maximise their potential rather than one that rewards or punishes students based on their grades.
But this is the way our system works, and while we exist within it we ought to take as much advantage out of it as we can.
I've been seeing a lot of comments on this subreddit saying that you should go to the JC nearest to your house no matter what, because as long as you work hard it doesn't matter what the cut-off point of the JC is; you'll still get your A.
Comments are usually justified by anecdotes like I knew someone who went to JPJC with 6 points and got their 90RP or I travelled 1.5 hours every day to go to HCJC and was miserable and didn't do well or even quips like Do you want to be a big fish in a small pond or a small fish in a big pond?
Do not choose a junior college solely based on distance. While it's true that many students perform well in lower-tier junior colleges, the truth about our education is that it's a meritocracy. Students who perform well are deemed meritorious and deserving of better education and opportunities.
If you get all As and choose to go to JPJC, you are not taking advantage of the superior opportunities that are designed to be afforded to you by going to a higher-tier junior college.
Look at the endowment reports of Raffles and Hwa Chong, which are made publicly available on the MOE website. In the year 2016, Hwach spent $92,000 on "Student Development, Activities & Awards" while Raffles spent over a million on "Special programme expenses".
Granted, Raffles and Hwach are IP schools with secondary school sections; but, on average, students of these schools—especially low-income ones—have more money invested into them in terms of "student development" and "special programmes" than the lower COP schools.
Look at the subject, CCA, H3, research, and ECG offerings in elite schools and contrast them with low COP ones. The opportunities for you to develop both inside and outside of the classroom are far more abundant in RI, Hwa Chong, and the like. As you go down the ranking of schools, you notic

Now, here's something that I'd had in mind for a while, and only remembered when I'd gotten to Lost Vikings, and it's a rather "big" change when it comes to how many things need to be changed - standardise movement speed so that every unit has the base movement speed of a Hero, but then has a modifier to put them at the desired speed.
What this means is that instead of everything showing 100% movement speed, you'd see Minions & Mercenaries having 67% movement speed, the only issue with this change is that movement speed modifiers would be improved on non-Heroes, but I think it's a much better system for looking at movement speed.
Numerous other units also feature nonstandard movement speed, like summons from Xul or Zagara, who some move at the same speed as Minions, and others move at different speeds once more, assume that all of these would feature the same changes seen to Minions, Mercenaries and Monsters.

I'm probably going to receive a lot of flack for this, but I figured I would state my opinion from a computer this time and hope that people don't misconstrue what I am saying. I tried to ask the experts to help with the numbers but, I didn't receive a clear answer, so people can respond after reading this. One of the foundations of my bias against liquidity baking is both that it is a tax, and that the escape hatch, in its current form, seems like a facade.
Personally, I would love to be persuaded else-wise, but I don't see any metrics on how tzBTC-LB has been used to improve Tezos or the community. Also, doing the math, I don't like how hard the escape hatch is to activate.
In 1894 the first over-seas tax was formed to tax Americans living abroad. This in itself isn't bad, depending on where you live, however the fact is, the minority have no real voice in this matter. Expats living overseas get taxed abroad and receive very little benefits from that tax(Embassy services? ha). There is literally no way for expats living overseas to remove this law because there simply isn't enough of them to vote it out(they don't have a loud enough voice).
In the case of LB on tezos, I feel like the same thing could happen to private bakers if we allow proposals to be made that have both economical(liquidity baking) and protocol level changes(Tenderbake). Maybe my fear is unfounded, but I ran the numbers and I still feel the same way. The amount of voting bakers isn't enough to actually activate the escape hatch, even at 33%(check below numbers).
This, according to google and many other sources "inflation" is a form of "tax". Delegates pay a "fee" to their baker, and the baker is paid with inflationary tax(albeit not crazy inflation). Do you really think governance happens without some sort of tax? Its just hidden in another word and made MUCH more efficient(supposedly).

With Liquidity baking, a select few who are able to do KYC with the French gate-keeper Whorton(excludes USA citizens) can mint and enjoy the full extent of the benefits. The expats don't have a voice in how their tax is used. Is this the same for Tezos? If we are using this tax to benefit the network, we should have a solid plan to

Lurzoik didn’t question the summons. She assumed nobody else would, either. It came from the Pirate King himself. He wouldn’t waste their time if it wasn’t a serious matter.
The encrypted message implied they were all dealing with the same pest; a bounty hunter from a relatively new species of hairless primates called humans.
The Five Warlords of the Black Web had ruled the criminal underground for a century, rarely meeting for anything. Logistical issues from warping towards the same location at the same time made them too easy to track, and having all of them together created an alluring target for any authorities to raid them. This could be circumvented through several methods, namely bribes and strategic shuttling with decoys, but it ignored the main reason these individuals avoided fraternizing.
They just couldn’t stand each other’s presence.
In fact, most of the time, every warlord was actively trying to undermine one another. They only had an unspoken agreement, an alliance of convenience against the Federation and nothing else, held together by the one thing they held sacred above all else: tax-free profit. As soon as one of them became a liability, or lost their leverage, they had no problem eliminating them.
Bearing all this in mind, Lurzoik didn’t fear for her safety upon landing inside the asteroid fortress. She was in charge of all the drug, organ, and weapon’s trade in over seventy-five percent of the galaxy, a useful niche that the other warlords couldn’t easily penetrate. Not without her knowledge, at least.
Upon leaving their ships, they had to surrender all their weapons, but Lurzoik found a way around that, so she had to assume the others may have done the same. It was a rather odd innovation that her top researchers developed, an organic lasgun made from plastic and the glands of a species that could shoot beams out of their mouths. The perfect weapon for smugglers.
Lurzoik eyed the energy field at the entrance gate with trepidation.
It would detect any conventional weapons after walking through it. A small part of her dreaded being caught, since she wasn’t entirely certain her scheme would work, but the risk was worth it. Someone had to test it, and the Pirate King’s defenses were the best in the galaxy. If it could fool his scanners, then the Federation’s security measures stood no chance either.
The Pirate King wouldn’t forgive the transgression, though. He was the most cunning and cruel of all the warlords. Although

There were about 20 people, and from what I could tell through individual interactions and listening to the questions the others asked, everyone but me was able to talk to their parts to some extent. I found that surprising, I didn't think I was that special. I had just come to the conclusion that Dick Schwarz and those that followed him just kinda neglected the whole "HOW" aspect of talking to a part and getting them to talk back, since there is never any real discussion of how to do that aspect, which to me is the single most fundamental piece, the thing you have to know before you can even really start. But apparently my case is fairly rare, so my criticism is less valid.
Anyway, toward the end there was a mention of self-like parts, and though it wasn't expanded upon, I remembered that I had already bought the Kindle version of the second and third volumes of Jay Earley's self-therapy but had never looked at them, so I thought I'd look at those to see if there was any mention of stuff like that, or advanced techniques for working with protectors, or what. Toward the end of the 2nd volume of Self Therapy, it had a section on self-like parts, and it seemed to describe my situation fairly well.
>“I have noticed a special case of Self-like Parts, which I call Dominant Self-like Parts. Most Self-like Parts are activated only at certain times, and when they are, you think you are in Self and don’t know that you’re blended with that part. However, Dominant Self-like Parts go further. Between the awesome community patch notes and the new dungeon exploding, we see why players who observe the Nightfall rewards want to increase their head-wondering. These changes we've made for Witch Threshold will likely make Warlocks finally bottom.

... keep reading on reddit ➡I didn't see one already written, so I did the work myself and typed up the gist of all the questions and answers given on the podcast on Tuesday. This isn't a transcript or anything, so I paraphrased where I could just to slim things down a little bit.
Q: Could you talk a little about the decision to move towards a weapon-focused sandbox?
>Kevin Yanes: "It's gonna be great. We took a long look at feedback after Beyond Light (and before it) about where abilities were in the Crucible. It wasn't just the heat of Stasis, it was a directional shift about how we wanted to approach PVP. Around this time we were playing the game and thinking about the pain points we had as well and corroborating with data and community feedback and realized we had been power inflating since Forsaken, and we had hit sort of a threshold. It was too much, we had to decide one way or the other. We decided to reel it back.

>We have no intention of going back to D2Y1; that was a different game. But we believe there's a time and a place for abilities. So what you're going to see here is us resetting the foundation. We are re-normalizing the pace of the game. That is so we can add things like the 3.0 update in Witch Queen. [...]

>The abilities are still super important. You're gonna see that. We're not going to a place where it's gonna feel stale."
>Eric Smith: "You're gonna have combinations you weren't able to pull off before. It's gonna feel really good. I guess I'll leave it there."
Q: Are there any problems you expect from the upcoming changes?
>Eric Smith: "For me, we playtested it early but this game has so many moving parts that it's impossible to test everything. Philosophically I don't think there's a problem with this change for PVP. Obviously there's a risk of players exploiting loopholes, at which point we gotta jump in but yeah."
>Kevin Yanes: "The sole mission statement that I keep hammering home is: "I wanna find about this before Cheese Forever posts a goddamn video about it." (laughs) "That's part of the testing we did. Getting different people in, trying new things, and playing to win. That's what gets the cheesy stuff out, when I care more about seeing the W than I do maintaining my friendships.

>With anything, there's a risk. There could be exploits where you're generating too much ability energy. But I don't believe we're gonna end up where the game feels drier than it's supposed to. If anything
