A list of puns related to "Abraded"
Hi all, wondering if you can help as the internet is being withholding with the answer.
The glaze on my bathroom sink has become worn (abraded?) around the plug. As the ceramic beneath is porous, it's become a permanent home to hard-to-remove bacteria and is a bit of an eyesore.
Is it possible to re-glaze that somehow? I know I can't exactly take it to a kiln, glaze and fire it, but I was wondering if there is a product that covers and glosses such things so I don't have to look at what is underneath and can easily clean it going forward.
Bike was racked with another over 1000 km drive, upon getting to destination I noticed this wear on the fork. Other bike has something similar but not as deep. I think that it's just friction on the bike finish that has worn it away, judging from the smoothness of the damage. Tap test and visual inspection seem to indicate no carbon damage, but I figured I'd ask the community to see if anyone more experienced felt this was a red flag.

Will be seeing a LC at some stage next week to check latch. Someone please tell me that abraded nipples can eventually heal. Trying to nurse with a fairly large 1cm by 0.5cm abrasion and the pain is literally toe-curling. I'm using some multi-mam nipple cream in between feedings, did pump for a little and while it was more comfortable, it was so time consuming and didn't empty my best properly so I just went back to EBF LO.
The latch starts off okay but LO (1 month now) clicks while nursing. Constantly. I counted 36 clicks/seal breaks in the space of an 8 minute feed. I think this causes her to latch on even harder, it's uncomfortable too as she has to constantly re-latch. Anyone have any experience with these issues? Hoping the LC cab help soothe clicking, but I feel like the wounds are never going to heal!

> A water droplet bounces off a hydrophobic coating on a surface that has been burned and abraded in the NCRC on March 28, 2017.
> The developers say the new concoction is a breakthrough in a field where decades of research have failed to produce a durable coating.
> The coating is made of a mix of a material called "Fluorinated polyurethane elastomer" and a specialized water-repellent molecule known as "F-POSS." It can be easily sprayed onto virtually any surface and has a slightly rubbery texture that makes it more resilient than its predecessors.
> That's how the coating can renew itself hundreds of times.
> "We approached the problem differently, by measuring and mapping out the basic chemical properties that make a water-repellent coating durable. And some of the results surprised us."
> Generally, researchers have assumed that using more durable ingredients would make a more durable coating.

My fiance and I moved in together almost a year ago. When we moved in we bought all new furniture and instead of going leather sectional, my fiance convinced me of a white upholstery fabric sofa/love seat set would be better cosmetically to match our living room. A decision ive regretted a month after purchase. It wasnt because it was a crap set, it was cause i failed to realize how the sofa set would deteriorate in terms of quality/looks within years of owning it compared to leather or smoother fabric.
Anyways i digress and said sofa set has some rough areas that feel rough and abraded upholstery. It was smooth the first 6 months but lately ive been noticing how not soft the couch is getting. Way to fix it?
Ive used my dyson vaccum (hand held) and wasnt sure if it made it better or worse down the road. Been debating renting one of those fabric/upholstery deep cleaners.
