A list of puns related to "Abingdon"
Hi fellow Virginians! Iβm planning on taking a weekday (3 or 4 days max) trip to do some hiking around Abingdon. Is this a fun little town or should I look somewhere else? Any other tips about this area of the state? Things that shouldnβt be missed? Will be traveling with a toddler and a baby so family friendly and outdoor tips would be appreciated!
Hello all
I lived in Abingdon in the last 90s but my family had to move abruptly. I was wondering if anyone out there grew up and graduated about this time. I went to watagua from 2nd-4th grade.
Thanks
Remote working is with good and bad. One of the downsides is the social aspect of not being in an office setting and the basic socializing that occurs.
I have look for a meet up group the last few weeks and have not found one. Looking to see if anyone is interested - which is open to all professionals, remote or not, in any industry, of any age who would be interested in:
a) creating a meet up group
b) primarily meeting roughly once a week for a happy hour and really just getting to know each other and socialize.
c) if interest is there I could create and manage a meet up group. Depending on where in the TRI area everyone is we could do different areas each week (Abingdon one week/Bristol another/JC another etc).
d) does not need to be incredibly formal, but if it gets a good base group and develops maybe activities could be extended to other events such as hiking, volunteering, etc. etc.
Thanks for reading and let me know if any interest!
Looking for areas for the kids to ride dirt bikes and go karts on the Abingdon / Bristol area. Open fields or trails are fine just have no idea where they can go.
Hi all,
I've read on the forum that north Abingdon is nicer/safer than south Abingdon. We have 3 young children and would like to consider Abingdon as a place to move to but need to know which areas to avoid. I'm confused as to whether Peachcroft is a decent place or not - some have said it isn't but its also in the north, is it not?
I would like to be more in the north as I would have to commute (either public transport or bike) into Oxford.
Any advice would be fab!
