A list of puns related to "Zone melting"
As long as we end up on the moon.
Title basically says it all. Some sources seem to say the the mafic minerals with higher melting points don't melt during subduction. This then means the magma rising up being felsic, thus the solidified rock will be felsic. Other sources seem to say the magma is differentiated while rising through fractional crystallization leaving the mafic minerals with higher melting points) deeper leading to the magma rising being more and more felsic along the way. This explanation seem to say that mafic minerals also initially melt, but will solidify at greater depths and higher temperatures. What would you say is the more correct explanation? A combination perhaps? Any feedback appreciated.
Thanks
There's this episode of a show, might've been a twilight zone episode or a show like it, where a family wakes up in a house and realize they're stuck inside a large metal box. They keep trying to get out, but start to get fatigued and are unable to use some of their limbs after a while as the temperature rises. At one point a weird ooze comes down from the chimney. At the end they realize they're in a dollhouse and were melting, as a giant girl finds them. Apparently her brother had hidden it.
My dad and I looked through a bunch of shows and forum posts, and haven't been able to find it, any help is appreciated.
What liquid cooler should I get? I ask for liquid only, because my computer is already loud, and I would like it to be quieter.
Thinking of CM Seidon 120V/Corsair H60 right now.

> This powerful collision, called subduction, is responsible for forming volcanic arcs that are home to some of Earth's most dramatic geological events, such as explosive volcanic eruptions and mega earthquakes.
> Researchers led by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution have discovered a previously unknown process involving the melting of intensely-mixed metamorphic rocks-known as mélange rocks-that form through high stress during subduction at the slab-mantle boundary.
> Often referred to as the planet's engine, subduction zones are the main areas where water and carbon dioxide contained within old seafloor are recycled back into the deep Earth, playing critical roles in the control of long-term climate and the evolution of the planet's heat budget.
> "A large fraction of Earth's volcanic and earthquake hazards are associated with subduction zones, and some of those zones are located near where hundreds of millions of people live, such as in Indonesia," Nielsen says.
> The research team says the study's findings call for a reevaluation of previously published data and a revision of concepts relating to subduction zone processes.
> Future studies to quantify these parameters stand to provide even greater insight into the role of mélange in subduction zones and the control it exerts over earthquake generation and subduction zone volcanism.
