Yukio (comics) Puns

On November 25 1970, Yukio Mishima, together with members of his extreme-right organization Tatenokai (Shield Society) made hostages at a military base in Tokyo. There, Mishima made a speech, where he tried to convince the military servicemen at the base to join him in rebellion to restore the Armed Forces to the Emperor and overthrow the US-imposed Constitution. This ended with Mishima commiting seppuku after being booed off. How would history change had he succeded?

Point of Division: November 25 1970

Situation: Somehow, the military at the base join them, and try to take over the government. Either the Tatenokai or a group with similar leanings are in control of the provisional government. How would: The United States, China/Korea, and the japanese public react? Would US FORCES JAPAN intervene to restore the government? Civil war?

He was a Japanese author who committed seppuku after attempting a coup with four other members from his own private army, the Tatenokai. I become aware of him through the movie Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters. Which has a great score by Philip Glass.

Hello! For those of you who have read this book, have you felt the ending was slightly disappointing? I understand that his life became sort of stable after the end of the war and the impossibility of having a romantic relationship with Sonoko, but it felt as if I didn’t understand the last paragraph or as if it was inconclusive by itself. So I would like to know y’all thoughts on this.

In episode 22 yukio and rock was arguing about something and I got confused why yukio said she hated rock.
