Hi guys, I'm beginning a series of videos that I call The Unloved, where I'll be featuring units that don't see much playtime in WOTV or coverage in videos.
The goal here is discussing what they can bring to the table now, what EX jobs, future VCs or equipment might make them stronger in the future and taking them out for a spin in arena, playing to their strengths.

Hello everyone. Next up in my WOTV Unloved series is Yerma. The bruiser of bruisers...who no one plays besides me apparently...
She has kept me competitive in all modes since her release, I have relied on her and she has delivered. My thoughts as to what makes her so good and ways to run her are in the video. Check it out.

So i've seen a few posts regarding Yerma, and how to use and or build her and i figured that since im a HUUUGE Yerma fan and have been focusing on her and maining her heavily that i would offer up my review/thoughts of her.
For starters the biggest question i have been seeing regarding Yerma is what two passives (Green Skills on her ability chart) should people be using with her, to me its a very easy question to answer. You should be using [Viking Lore] and [Thiefs Lore] and I will explain why for both of them.
βͺVikings Lore
This is an amazing passive for her and one that i have personally Maxed out, it raises both her HP as well as her attack, just further making her a tankier Heavy Hitter. Nothing better then having an extreme heavy hitter also having a bit of tankiness and bulk to them!
Thiefs Lore
This passive grants her +1 Move and boosts her AGI, Yerma at base stats maxed out is a pretty slow unit, unless you equip her with Thiefs Lore, i went from having 45-46 AGI to now having 50+ AGI just by maxing out this passive. As for the +1 movement it may seem like such a small boost, but trust me it can be the difference between moving and KO'ing an enemy, or not having enough movement to KO a threat. It has saved me more times then i can count!
Another question i've seen a little bit is regarding what reaction ability you should use, and i suggest using Sword Guard as when it procs it reduces the amount of damage that she takes, which is super helpful in keeping her alive, and in the fight.
As for Espers and Vision Cards for her?
Im using Golem for extra HP and tankiness overall. But Espers Like Ifrit also would be very great for her adding onto her already great damage.
Vision Cards, The two im using and switching back and forth are Golem, and Love/Hate depending on the dungeon im farming or the PvP team im fighting. But again Ifrits Vision Card would be great as well for her!
Anything that increases her damage/ATK/HP/Tankiness will work amazingly for her!
In a recent post ive seen asking about how to use/build Yerma the person had questioned how well she acquires AP and im here to say that she really does not have to worry about AP at all, wether its using an attack like Launch or Knee breaker, she will almost always kill the target granting her extra AP, and if shes left with a basic attack? She still almost always should 1 shot or 2 shot a unit, granting her a good chunk of AP back. Shes a unit that really just do

Just curious what people are using as her passives. I love her as a character but her Viking Lore is killing me. Is it worth losing AP gain for HP/ATK? Doesnβt seem like a good call, as her skills are incredibly strong.
What else do you take? Thief Lore is an obvious winner but the Divine and Unyielding Protection both seem very niche.
Our hours as players are limited and so are the event benefits, which one do you focus on first?
Now that the QoL is finally here, I'm giving a go at crafting. Thing is, I'm honestly not sure which would be the better choice for Yerma. I think that all in all, she has pretty decent in-built crit. Should I go for crit to increase the crit frequency even higher (and get more AP from them)?
Or should I just go for assault and rely on her own crit rates?
And for the future, is there a "rule" I should follow in regards to crafting? Like "if character has innate crit, build crit. Else, build assault".

I couldnt see it very well, but in my Last guild battle there was a Yerma with ap auto recharge. I dont know if it's a Yerma's skill or maybe from mont or xiza but it surprised me a lot :O sorry if my english is not the best, I hope that u can understand me <3
Hello folks. My main PVP Team is Shadowlynx (89), Engelbert (76) and Mediena (69). Based on what I match up against it is a very strong team. However, teams will continue to get stronger. My Mediena is about halfway to LB2...which means even when she gets there, she is gonna be stuck at 74 for a very long time. And she isn't great against even or + level opponents anyway. I am working on Yerma to replace her...currently 64 but with a path to 89. I love her combination of durability and lethality and I think she will be a nice upgrade to Mediena.
But I can't figure out how to run her. Viking Lore. Has anyone maxed this out? ATK and HP are great but an AP penalty is crippling. What is the AP penalty at level 20? If you aren't sure, just go do a Rebelllious spirit and check AP gain. It should give you 7 AP, so you can at least get an idea based on what that return is.
Reaction ability. Sword Guard seems like the obvious choice here but is less useful with 30 Faith, but Altema lists Quick Action.
Esper. I made a mistake leveling her in my B team giving her Ifrit Resonance, now I want to put her on my main Team but Shadowlynx has 10 Resonance and uses Ifrit. My Options are Shiva, Iron Giant, Siren and Ogre. None feel like great options.
I know she can be a beast if I do this right. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Iβve noticed that when using Yerma and a buffer on the same team without a tank, the buffer tends to get Yerma buffed before any other units, similar to how they do with Mont. Enemies seem to be drawn to her as well, but Iβm not sure if itβs any more than normal for close-range units.
Does anyone know if enemy AI prioritizes her as a target when a dedicated tank isnβt on the team?
At least, someone tweeted that he'd been there, and then @ David_Tennant on Twitter picked up the story--maybe just because they were tagged? It's flimsy evidence, but I really need some DT news, and he does go to a lot of Billie's shows. She's getting amazing reviews, by the way. I'd love to see her on stage someday.
