Kibble please: Worcester class light cruiser

Worcester class Anti-Aircraft cruiser

Backstory

The Worcester class cruiser was the final all gun light cruiser ever designed by the US navy. Laid down in 1945, these ships were intended to be the successor to the Atlanta and Juneau class anti-aircraft cruisers. They were equipped with 12 Dual-purpose, autoloading 6-inch guns in 6 dual mounts. Overall however, the class was largely considered unsuccessful. The guns and their loading systems were unreliable and prone to jamming during prolonged fire. They also could not achieve a rate of fire higher than 10 to 12 RPM. Which was no better than the 6" guns of the Brooklyn and Cleveland class, and worse than of the Atlanta class. The fire control system was also largely inadequate, especially for anti-surface action.

Overall, two ships of the class were constructed. USS Worcester(CL-144) and USS Roanoke(CL-145). Two other ships were cancelled before construction could begin; USS Vallejo(CL-146) and USS Gary(CL-147)

Which ship line is more beginner friendly, the path to Des Moines or Worcester in the US Cruiser line?

Im starting a new account and I have heard that the US cruiser line was one of the most easiest line to train on to learn about cruiser strats.

So I have come to ask which line is much easier and which line is much better to invest on as I will probably be grinding this line for a majority of the time.
