1/700 Atlanta-class cruisers - why are they so hard to find?

Title, basically. I'm trying to find any model I can of a US Atlanta-class cruiser (trying to do the USS San Diego, specifically), but I cannot for the life of me find one, barring an extremely old one on eBay and a single page on the less-than-reliable Squadron website. Can anyone clue me in as to why this is the case, or where I might find what I'm looking for?

After years of playing WoWs I had the urge to build one of my favorite in-game ships- Atlanta Class Cruiser

I'm clearly not a professional model maker, and it took significantly longer for me to complete than it had any right to, but considering I haven't built a plastic model since I was ~14 I'm not displeased with how it came out. Revell Model Kit for USS San Juan CL-53, 1:700 scale

Shame WG nerfed IFHE so badly. She's still fun to play but the ability to do well while playing is much harder.

USS San Diego, the (historically) better Atlanta-class cruiser

Our lord and savior Sandy needs to be in WoWS. Yes this was inspired by Azur Lane.

"But we already have 2 Atlanta class cruisers in the game!" I hear you say!

Nono, this Atlanta needs to be in the game! Also Flint is sorta considered a different class. Go figure.

She is the second most decorated WW2 ship with 18 battle stars only coming second to Enterprise's 20.

The challenge here is making her unique in some form or another and I have a pretty good idea of how to do this.

First of all she took part in a crazy amount of action and even managed to fit in a hell of a lot of escort duty as well.

What makes her unique during the war armament wise is that she was given comparable AA to the more modern Atlanta-Oakland or just Oakland class while retaining all 16 her 5inch guns.

How did they do this? Quad bofors baby! This allowed them to save quite a bit of space on deck.

The 3 above characteristics gave me what I needed to work with to make another Atlanta class cruiser.

Consumables :

Slot 1 - Damage Control Party. Standard.

Slot 2 - Speed boost! Standard, 2 charges. Why? Cuz she flitted around the Atlantic pacific like a madman!

Slot 3 - Hydro or DF. Standard. Not infinite DF like Atlanta.

Slot 4 - Repair Party or Radar.

Repair party similar to Fiji.

Radar and hear me out! 15 second duration and 100/60 second cooldown. 3/4 charges. This is much shorter than the normal 25seconds, 1 extra charge and shorter CD to compensate.

Stat differences. I will be using Flint and Atlanta as a baseline to illustrate the differences.

8 x 2, 5 inch guns

5.5second reload

Same broadside weight as Atlanta with same damage per shell, but 10% worse DPM.

4 x 2 torpedos.

18000 damage.

62kts.

8km range.

110 second reload.

These torps are a middle ground between Flint and Atlanta torpedos but with a longer reload for slightly higher damage.

However to make the torps a bit more unique I would give them much better firing angles. As mentioned previously the deck space on San Diego was less cramped than Atlanta due to quad bofors being used and all 28mm removed.

In the image below I will remove one AA mount to make the angles better. This is a bit of a liberal change to make the ship feel more unique and give her Atago like angles even though there is no historical precedent for this change.

AA armament.

Short range : 13 x 20mm Oerlikon - 48dps @ 2.01km.

Medium range

What do you think Atlanta or Brooklyn class light cruiser in 1.87?

There are guns mounted on the Brooklyn class in the game files but are those just the ones for the AI ships already in-game? I personally feel like the Atlanta would fit better into the game and also kinda the theme of the USN ships right now being AA monsters (besides the crap Omahas of course)

For those of you disappointed that USA is only getting the USS Raleigh, just wait for the next cruiser addition. More then likely it will be an Atlanta Class cruiser

The biggest issue with the USA cruiser line is that historically, The Omaha's remained in service till the Brooklyn class came on line. Unfortunately, the Brooklyn class is such a massive jump forward in time, firepower, and armor that it makes adding it in problematic

Why am I so sure of this?

Currently, the Brooklyn class would be too powerful of a cruiser to add. Between its guns and 127mm armor belt I don't see it being added till much further down the line.

The Atlanta class however, would be comparable to the next group of cruisers they would add (leipzig etc.). Its armor is thin enough and Main guns comparable enough to what we have now that it would be a perfect addition to the next batch of light cruisers after the ones we get in 1.85

The atlanta class would be a logical progression to a brooklyn class due to it being inbetween the perfromance of t
