I know a ton of people still enjoy Bioshock Infinite, but I honestly still wish we got a version of it with the prototypeβs Art Nouveau architecture and gross/beautiful mutations, the visuals almost make it feel like an oil painting

I absolutely was mesmerized by the visual art in Ghost of Tsushima. When I found out Tsushima island actually existed and resembled the game I was doubly impressed. I wanted to do an artpeice to resonate the feeling I had playing this game!

Curse you visual arts!
So...I posted some artwork edited to match my fanfic in its fandom's subreddit the other day and I got a weeks worth of traffic reading my story overnight. None of my other promos get this kind of response unless I include some kind of art. It is a manga/anime fic, so it is not surprising that readers are visually oriented.
But what really got my knickers in a knot was a reader telling me they had read the stories a few days before and then proceeded to leave a lovely comment about them in response to the picture! Was it the story, the words, that finally motivated them to comment? Nooowah! It was the art.
(sigh)
I really can't complain (even though I just did). I'll take the comments any way I can get them.

Applying to Mason Gross for BA in Visual Arts, portfolio advice.
Hi, im a rutgers student at NB looking to apply to mason gross for next fall. Im applying for a BA in visual arts, not BFA, and I want my focus to be drawing.
I guess could I ask for some advice about what to put in my portfolio, how much should be pencil, charcoal drawings and how much should be the other requirements like photography, ink, media, painting, sculpture.
I dont have any experience in painting, and am not very confident in doing a decent color painting by the time of the portfolio. Any advice would be appreciated.
