In FPZ's most recent episode of his podcast (Wrestling with Freddie) he dives into his work into the tag team division. He mentioned how he will never get over how he failed in getting The Hart Dynasty (Harry Smith & Tyson Kidd) and the Uso Brothers over.
Vince pulled him aside and told him the quote you see in the headline, which helped Freddie with his booking in the future. Why? "Because it's show business, and the second word is the most important out of the two."
His podcast is decent. Filled with annoying ads but it's little nuggets like these that give us a look into how the mind of Vince and other powerful people in WWE think/thought.

On the latest episode of Matt Cardona and Brian Myers' Podcast, Matt mentioned that he wrestled a match over the weekend and his Vince McMahon action figure was his good luck charm.
He posted a picture with the figure on social media. He went on tell a story that he actually texted the pic to Vince and received 2 smiley faces as a response. Mark Sterling joked and asked if it is actually Vince you responds to these texts or if it is someone else. Both Myers and Cardona confirm that Vince loves texting and is doing it all the time. Myers joked that whenever you see Vince he is on his phone "more than Cardona" (who they joke about always being on his phone).
Myers told a story
> I probably shouldn't even tell this story but one time Bobby Roode asked me to watch Vince- watching his match. So I'm in gorilla and I don't think Vince looked up one time from his phone. Roode came back and I said, dude there is no way he saw any of that.
I keep seeing a lot of posts about Tony Khan and other bookers, but I don't see one where people talk about Vince McMahon. What boosts my curiosity is that this sub is not the Basement so I'm pretty sure I can get some honest answers.
Anyway, I think Vince McMahon is an important person in the wrestling business. Without him, wrestling wouldn't be where its at today. Sure he has done some wacky things off screen, but that's any businessman.
